Vila Maria

We were received with a lot of welcome.The breakfast was the best with a lot of varieties yammy cake, you do not eat everything there are so many choices.I was very spoiled louise to wash and dry my laundry.Much of small details in the apartment that makes you super welcome any smiling and a pleasure to hear Louise speak Portuguese .we really recommend to anyone 👌

Host was very nice, kind and helpful. We asked for a washing machine, instead the host offered to do our laundry for us. Staying here felt like visiting a family, rather than a guest. We were very well look after. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of choices. If we ever come back to Castelo De Vide, We will not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay at Vila Maria. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, perfect for resting after a day of hiking in the area. The location is great and the area is very peaceful. The host is a very sweet and kind lady. The outdoor terrace is wonderful and a lovely place to relax. However, the real highlight is the breakfast: homemade cakes and pastries, homemade bread, and a selection of more than ten different jams made from the fruit of their own trees. There are also cheeses and everything you could possibly want for a great breakfast. Everything was prepared with great care. We would definitely stay here again.

The owner, Louisa, is a treasure. She has lived in different parts of the world and now enjoys gardening and meetings guest at her lovely bnb. Louisa has created an beautiful fruit tree orchard on her beautifully maintained, fenced in set of gardens. We loved visiting with her while sampling the many fruit jams and jellies she makes to serve her guests each morning! She's delightful.
