A great place to stay!

I am so happy with our stay with Caroline at the Villa le Monde. She was so incredibly sweet and was so amazing with our children. She even has games and things to color with. She was always so friendly and approachable, willing to help or assist you whenever you need it. Her breakfast was fantastic and had plenty of options. There are a lot of stairs so be forewarned and parking on the street is free which is nice. There is a castle in town and during the summer they do a show at night that can be seen from the town (along the canal). I highly recommend staying with Caroline. You will be sure to enjoy your stay

No air conditioning but it is very common here in Europe.

We searched high and low for a B&B that would take us with our parents in law's little dog over Christmas and found the Villa le Monde. It could not have been better! Large, spotlessly clean rooms with gorgeous views over the towns. The highlight was undoubtedly the extensive breakfast - different types of bread, cheeses, hams, jams, hard boiled eggs, and coffee served in flasks - yes! No thimblefuls that you need to keep refilling from a machine! Caroline and Patrick made us feel so welcome - and were extremely understanding when we accidentally made off with our room key....oops. Thank you so much for inviting us into your lovely home!

A perfect way to spend Christmas

The points I mentioned in the "didn't like" section are really minor and had totally no influence on the quality of our stay. The B&B is held by a very dynamic couple. They do everything to please their guests. You really feel at home with them. They're very kind, warm-hearted and treat you as being part of their family. This is by far the best B&B I've ever seen. The rooms are spotless and checked every day. The decoration is very cosy. The setting of the B&B is magnificent, right outside the city center with a splendid view on the old castle of La Roche. The breakfast is very elaborate and all with regional, high-quality quality products/ingredients. If you wish you can even order dinner is prepared with love by Caroline. We had dinner twice and it was just delicious. For us it's most than certain a "we want to come back" feeling. Well done Caroline and Patrick. Keep up the good work!

The bathroom door could have been a bit better. The mattress on the bed was too soft to our taste. All the rest was just perfect.

Heel leuk toffe woning, gezellig en goed bereikbaar. Op een paar stappen van kasteel en centrum.

Locatie perfect, op een paar voetstappen van het centrum. Vakantiewoning met alles erop en eraan. Alles was beschikbaar gesteld, tot vaatwastabletten, keukenrollen, keukengerei en in elk lokaal zakdoekjes. Je kunt er zorgeloos heen, je hebt alleen je kledij en toiletgerief nodig, de rest vind je ter plaatse. Bij het vertrek nog even de poetsvrouw tegengekomen, een hele leuke dame, heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Chapeau voor deze dame, ze is heel begripvol en staat klaar om te helpen.

De verwarming was een minpuntje. In de winter valt dit een beetje tegen. Om 23u was het alsof de verwarming werd afgezet en werd alles veel koeler terwijl de dagtemperatuur al nipt was. Zeker in de badkamers is dit een minpunt want daar was het in de ochtend echt wel ijskoud en dat is minder leuk om te douchen.

Mooi en gezellig vakantiehuis

De woning heeft verschillende leuke zitjes inclusief de grote tafel in de serre. Het huis was erg compleet qua voorzieningen. Een leuke ruime vakantiewoning met goede keuken en slaapkamers. Een pré is de barbecue buiten met zitplaatsen. We hebben daar lekker buiten gegeten!

Eigenlijk niets. Het huis is uitermate geschikt voor een vriendengroep zoals wij; alles is aanwezig zonder overbodige luxe snufjes .

Het prachtige huis met de locatie. Je zit op nog geen 5 minuten lopen van het centrum.

Genoten van begin tot einde.

Een heel ruim huis dat heel netjes was. Voldoende ruimte om rustig te kunnen relaxen maar toch ook met veel mensen samen te kunnen genieten. Een prachtig terras (deel overdekt en deel open) vanwaar je een prachtig uitzicht hebt over de hele stad. Ook vanuit de binnenruimte is er een prachtig uitzicht met zicht op het kasteel.

grootte, indeling en locatie van het huis

het was niet overal even schoon. Gedoe met het innen van de borg. Dit had gemoeten via een bankoverschrijving, maar er werd niet aangegeven hoe dat moest. Via de Visa card werd een pre-autorisatie uitgevoerd maar de borg is niet bij de eigenaar aangekomen. En dag van tevoren kregen we daarover een mail. De kosten voor de hond moesten ook contant worden voldaan, wat ook niet bekend was.

Perfecte locatie, fijn dat alle slaapkamers een eigen badkamer hebben, mooie ruime keuken met alle benodigdheden

Alle ruimte op een geweldige locatie

Heel ruim huis (voormalig hotel) op een prachtige locatie in La Roche met uitzicht op de ruïne en het dorp. Flinke kookplaat en alle voorzieningen royaal aanwezig. Ruime kamers, fijne bedden en iedereen een eigen badkamer. Wij waren er in de winter maar het zonneterras is met goed weer ook fantastisch denk ik.

Terras is wat glad als het vochtig is, maar dat is een detail.
