A superb stay at this clean, modern and spacious hotel with friendly staff

This is a superb hotel. The staff are friendly; facilities modern, clean and spacious. It has a very relaxing vibe and we would definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is not located in the main Chora area of Naxos so the only not so good part was the location. However the location is great if you are wanting to be near the beach.

A wonderful location with beautiful views.

This is a wonderful property. The hosts appear to be a family and they greeted us promptly and professionally. We had 2 rooms and each was well appointed, very clean, and spacious. As far as location, it is about a 5-10 minute walk directly to the beach and about 10-20 minutes into town, depending on how far you wanted to go. We did not utilize a taxi while we were there, but we saw numerous ones, so I doubt it would be a problem to go to and from by taxi. We did leave the island by walking to the bus stop which was about 5 minutes away downhill. All in all, a lovely stay.

Very disappointing for the money

Beautiful surrounds pristine housekeeping and superbly clean resort

Booked a junior sunset suite which was like a dungeon, cold no light tiny kitchenette and the hardest worst bed ever slept in! We paid a lot for our stay and were extremely disappointed in the room, more like a tiny studio which was damp. Was cold all week Staff ere helpful but a bit distant didn’t seem to want to engage in conversation much, probably end of season fatigue. Tip don’t book room 8 it’s the worst in the complex

The hotel was beautiful and and maintained with utmost care. It is a family run hotel and they were very friendly and helpful. Everything was exceptionally clean and updated.

Superb quiet location with stunning views

Location is superb - we walked down to the beach and shops daily (about a 10 minute stroll) and we could catch the bus to and from town on the main road less than 5 minutes away. Views of the beach especially at sunset were incredible. Staff were very helpful especially when some of our group were affected by missed transfers or lost luggage. Cleanliness of rooms and amenities were very good. Breakfast was cheap and hearty . This was simply just the best location for a dream holiday!

We needed a washing line as we packed light - so one at the back of the the property would have been useful. Directions for induction stove top would have been useful but certainly no deal breaker.

A little gem of a hotel. Exceptional in every way

A lovely, family run hotel that was simply superb in every way. We stayed 8 nights. The breakfasts were always freshly prepared and delicious. Our room was spacious with an amazing balcony and view of the sea. Spotlessly clean and the family and staff were extremely kind and helpful. It was a short walk to the best beach on the island and the town. There are lots of eateries to choose from.

This was paradise. The location, the staff, the view, it was true perfection. We travelled with two kids and the apartment was perfect for us. The view is incredible, and it is an easy walk to the beach and town. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Highly recommended hotel

The hotel is excellent, everything made our stay of 6 nights perfect. The location is good, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are nice, the pool is clean and large enough for everyone, the food is made with fresh ingredients. All 4 of us will keep very good memories of our vacation there.

Amazing Stay at Proteas

Really great experience. The Staff was amazing, very nice and friendly with a very familiar approach. Located 5 minutes walking from the best beach in Naxos, Proteas provide you a very comfortable and silent experience. Food is amazing and there you feel you are at home. I´ll definitely come back to this Hotel. Also you can find some lovely cats who are very friendly and will "clean" all your bad energies and provide you an excellent vibes.

Wonderful hotel with large pool and great staff.

Amazing hotel with a stunning view and large pool. We had the jacuzzi balcony room and I was large and well appointed. The staff was always cleaning and always helpful. We had many of the breakfast items and they were all very good. Large portions and very fresh. The staff was helpful with our group and also with making drinks for us. Absolutely gorgeous flowers and the stunning view! I can’t say enough. Very comfortable stay.

Lovely stay in great facilities. Would certainly return

We had a junior suite with coffee machine which was perfect for our needs. Aircon was great, room lovely and clean and well appointed. Was lovely to have the pool, which was a good size, and that you could order food at the restaurant if you wanted to.

Would have been nice if it was a little closer to the beach and public transport that wasn’t full, but wasn’t too bad a walk.

Fantastic family run hotel

Hotel is in a good location about 7 min walk to the beach and a 10 min walk to Agios Prokopios village, making it a quiet but convenient location. Nice views towards the sea from top of the hotel. Good size family room with a small kitchen. Nice and clean pool area, with a very deep pool. Well priced hotel restaurant. Lovely staff!

Lacking some basic cooking utensils. However we just asked at the reception and they lent us what we needed.

Charming, family-run hotel with warm hospitality, great location, and relaxing vibe

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing family-run hotel! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is ideal—peaceful and scenic, especially if you have a car, but also within walking distance (about 15 minutes) to one of the best beaches on Naxos. The pool is great for both adults and kids, and the charming architecture and peaceful setting really add to the experience. A lovely bonus: they bring breakfast right to your room or terrace if you wish, which made for some truly relaxing mornings. We can highly recommend this hotel, and if we return to Naxos, we’ll definitely consider staying here again!

Absolutely everything, from the friendly check in, staff, to the friendly check out. Exceptionally clean, quiet accommodation very close to the best beaches, with cheap chairs and umbrellas, heaps of restaurants, a few shops, and only a 10 minute drive into the main town of Chora, which has a huge amount of shops and restaurants, bus stop 300 metres away. Beautiful pool, kept in pristine condition, highly recommend, I would definitely stay again.

Great location, wonderful staff, beautiful hotel!

Wonderful! We wished we had stayed longer! The staff (who I think are all family) are amazing, very friendly & helpful & so hard working! They are always out & about, cleaning or maintaining the grounds. The hotel is a delight! We had a room that opened out onto a little patio right next to the pool. I love the pink & purple flowers climbing the walls, it looks stunning! Sitting by the pool is lovely but you’re also only a short walk (8-10mins) from one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen! There’s also more than enough shops & restaurants to keep you on this side of the island if that’s what you want. Getting around is easy though - the closest local bus stop is only 5mins walk away.

The only small gripe we had is with the shower in our room. It was very small & the shower curtain wasn’t long enough so no matter how careful you were, water got everywhere! The bathroom floor was drenched after each shower. Only a small thing though & the good points absolutely outweighed the bad.

Superb

The family that runs this hotel is incredibly kind, generous and helpful. They made us feel right at home and were eager to help us with numerous issues including an unexpected illness suffered by our 9 month old baby. Pretty and just perfect!

We LOVED our stay here! Everything about it! It was so pretty, flowers everywhere and you could hear the birds. The staff were helpful and always around. The pool was crystal clear and perfect temperature. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The area is amazing. only 5 mins walk to the best beaches and food in town. Such a pretty town with everything you need. only a ten min bus ride to chora the main town work winding tiny pretty streets. The room had everything we needed, comfortable beds etc. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It felt perfectly all things Naxos.

Lovely hotel, but recommend you have a car to get around

The pool, the little seating area outside the room, it was clean and had facilities for making simple meals. Also there was the most adorable cat that we made friends with that would come to visit us outside our room.

There was no washing up liquid, tea towel or washing up sponge in the room so we had to buy our own. We were fortunate to have a car, however the location would have been pretty far from the town and nice beaches if we'd had to go by foot. A car is recommended for this hotel

Great hotel, not helpful staff.

The property and room were beautiful! They knew it was our anniversary and write a nice note with a bottle of wine. It was such a sweet surprise.

The hot tub took all day to heat up which we did not know at first. So we were unable to use it the first day and not until 11:30pm at night after a very long day our second/ last day. Distance from town, but bus system was not hard to figure out. Although, hotel did not offer much assistance with this.

Wonderful, authentic family run hotel. Huge rooms with a gorgeous view of the mountains. A short 10 min walk brings you to a stunning beach. Given the hotel is on a mountain, the walk to and from the beach town may be challenging but options to rent a four wheeler etc to get around are available (and fun!)

We felt like at home! Beautiful hotel and lovely people

Everything was perfect - the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, our room was very spatious and we had a nice view over the ocean/sunset, the breakfast was delicious and the overall landscape (the plants and the flowers all around the hotel) are so pretty and taken care of. We felt like at home! I highly recommend Hotel Proteas :)

Just like the photo’s. a really lovely place to stay with a warm welcome. We loved it and was sad to leave! Rooms cleaned every day, lovely clean pool. Quiet away from the busy centre but only 10min drive to Chora/naxos port. 10/10
