Beautiful little gem of a place!!

The location was divine!! A beautiful quiet walking beach!! The rooms were spacious! Most of the restaurant food was quite delicious!

There is SO much potential with this little resort- restaurant had pretty good food but so understaffed with long waits and people get tired of that and go elsewhere! With little to hardly any effort they could easily have a well stocked little store that people would buy their snacks from.

Lactation, fronted straight onto the beech, the sea was warm and actually nicer than the pool, spent a lot of time in the sea which was extremely nice and relaxing.

Beautiful quiet and simple hotel on Sunset Beach

I loved the close proximity to the sea and to the strip of other hotels, bars and restaurants along Sunset beach. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. There is moped hire and the staff will get you a taxi if you need one. The rooms were large and clean. There was a large balcony overlooking the beach. The pool was immaculate and there a a restaurant and shop in reception selling gifts and essentials.

The air conditioning was very noisy and I found it difficult to sleep (even with ear plugs). The pillows really were hard and uncomfortable. The WIFI was not good and kept dropping out. Only 2 small bottles of water in the room every day weren’t very generous. The restaurant was not staffed very well and often no one around.

Will choose somewhere else next time.

I was never given an option for eating there. Staff were rude, place was poorly maintained, nothing like on the advertisement of property. Not to be dazzled by the pretty night time photos.

Unfriendly staff. Unfortunately not clean. Place is in runes. Stareways were not swept in a week, need hosing down. Never to return. Booked in a few hotels down the road so much better, same beach.

Beautiful beach, great value for money!

The location of the hotel is stunning, best beach in Khao lak area ,with beautiful seaview from every rooom of the hotel. Hotel itself is a bit outdated,pool is small, restaurant is not appealing, but thats why i guess price is so cheap compared to other resorts in the area. The value for money is exellent imo! Rooms are big,bed confortable, big terrace. Sure toiletries are basic, towels not luxurious, but was cleaned every day and i am really happy with my stay there! Renting a scooter recomended to moove around,as bit far from main street, restaurants,supermarkets.

Quiet but a bit remote

The property is very quiet, being that it's at the end of the beach. Our room and terrace were both very spacious with a lovely sea view. The Andalay Bar is a short walk down the beach (north toward town) is a great choice for lunch or supper. There are two other options on the road just north of the resort but we liked the Andalay so much we stuck with that. The resort restaurant does some decent dishes for fair prices so it's also worth your while at least once.

We didn't buy the breakfast with our room and opted instead to order a la carte. The full breakfast was a bit underwhelming with "hot dog" style sausage, dodgy ham and untoasted, dry white bread (the ham & cheese croissant was good but not very filling). Unfortunately, there are no nearby restaurant options that serve breakfast - you would need to walk/taxi into town to find a breakfast restaurant. We ate one day at Walker's Inn and loved it (real coffee!!) but's a good 20-25 minute jaunt.

Relaxation

The hotel is at the quiet end of the beach and is adult only. Our daily room service was exceptional and immaculate with clean daily bedding and towels. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was my husband's birthday and he was given a cake to celebrate..We booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 16 days. The beach is kept clean and is beautiful sand with a gentle clear sea.. The restaurant was only open until 5pm when we stayed. We only ate breakfast there once as it wasn't very good. There are plenty of eateries nearby within walking distance.

More loungers needed on the beach. The restaurant was it's failing. There are a lot of steps which might be too much for some people.

the beach view was excellent and the balcony and the room was big and bed comfortable

the staff couldn't understand english. we asked if they had a power adapter to charge, and they didn't understand what that was, even after we showed them. room service took away our saucers on the first night and housekeeping never replaced it. when we checked out, they asked us to pay for the 2 missing saucers. after much trouble and speaking to the boss, they let us off. ridiculous. housekeeping didn't renew tea bag for one day, we called and asked and they couldn't understand what we were asking for.

Strandnära, trevlig och tillmötesgående personal, städerskan jätte duktig, god mat i restaurangen. Solstolar/parasoll till alla. Utsikten från balkongen, väldigt fint. Liten butik i receptionen som det fanns lite av varje att handla. Prisvärt!

Vi bytte rum efter 2 dagar, Wifi fungerade inte, högt ljud från AC, både den som satt inne i rummet och utanför, trafiken hördes från vägen. Det nya rummet blev bättre men AC dundrade på ordentligt, det gick inte att sova, stängde vi av den blev det kvavt och olidligt varmt, det var + 27-28 ute nattetid. Hotellet behöver en uppfräschning, är slitet. Långt till centrum i värmen, iallafall om man skulle vilja ta en promenad

L'hôtel est sur la plage. Disponibilité des transats. Le restaurant offre un bon petit déjeuner et des plats très bon également. La vue mer était sympa même si notre chambre était a côté de la réception

La literie affreuse, odeur d'égouts dans la salle de bain très dérangeante. L'hôtel est vétuste, porte d'entrée abîmée, salle de bain à revoir. Pas d'insonorisation entre les chambres on avait l'impression d'être avec le voisin d'à côté.

Fruktansvärda kuddar, som att sova på tegelsten. Sängarna var isär och fast monterade i golvet så jag o min man kunde inte dela säng. Dålig mat och service, mycket slitet. Vi hade bokat 6 veckor men hade även motorcykel så vi var inte på hotellet förutom när vi sov. Hit åker vi absolut inte igen.

Die Lage des Resorts ist traumhaft. Zimmer sehr großzügig und sauber. Duschen mit Blick auf Meer und Strand. Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand vorhanden.

Wir kennen das Hotel aus früheren Jahren und es ist sehr verfallen. Es müsste kräftig investiert werden, damit diese einzigartige Lage des Hotels nicht komplett den Bach runter geht. Das Personal, insbesondere in Restaurant und Bar nicht so freundlich, wie man es in Thailand gewohnt ist.
