Hôtel Flor Rivoli

Excellent location - super close to the metro and a short walk down to the river Seine and tourist attractions. Room was basic but perfectly acceptable and what I was expecting for the money and central location of the property. The mattress was very firm which was great for myself as I suffer with lower back ache which is enhanced with a poor mattress and my back didn’t hurt at all during my nights sleep. Very pleased that there was a good fan in the room. Breakfast was a lovely little extra and very nice - a freshly baked croissant 🥐, fresh bread, Nutella, jams, butter and soft cheese, orange juice and tea/ coffee. Staff were prompt to answer any questions I had before our stay via the booking.com messenger feature. We were allowed to leave our luggage in a safe place at the hotel prior to checking in. Convenience store selling all sorts literally next door.

One plug socket didn’t work, towels are very small but these are minor issues that did not affect our stay.

bathroom a tad small but good enough. Location was really good, especially for the price.

A bathroom in the lobby would be nice.

The location was excellent 5 minute walk to the Louvre, next to chatelet metro. The bedroom was small but good for our needs, sleep... everything was spotlessly clean. breakfast was in the cafe next door, simple but good. I would stay there again when next in Paris just for the central location..

The spiral stair case to the rooms.The bathroom though clean needed renewing, and they had started repainting the room so there was a strong smell of paint which was fine once we had open the window.
