The owner was lovely, welcoming, and charming. It was a lovely day and evening.
The town is sad. It is no longer a fishing village but has become a tourist town with B&Bs and restaurants.

location was great. Staff were helpful and sweet. Room was nice - clean and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy. Building was interesting and beautiful - they did a great job converting it to a hotel.

Nice hotel right in the center of Cudillero. It was quiet and the view was good.
At first it was hard to find it based on the Google Maps location.

The property was great but the welcome was poor. We were driving and did not appreciate the difficulty brining a car to CUDILLERO. The person at reception was not very helpful. While I understand we don’t speak English, everywhere we have been people have been very helpful. Not at La Casino de Pio. to make things worse there were very few restaurants open for dinner because we were early in the season. There was no information given to us. So instead of the wonderful seafood I was expecting - as we were staying at a fishing village, we had the worst meal we have had in our whole trip- at twice the price. a little help from the reception would have gone a long way. The biggest disappointment was that I booked two single beds but when we arrived we were told we could only have a double bed - despite Booking.com showing they still had twin rooms available. Nor were we told they had a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. All in all, very poor service.
