Villany is tiny - really tiny, I’d suggest staying in Pecs and taking a day trip to Villany
This hotel was great and shared areas were fab, the bedrooms and bathrooms were however a bit dated

Nestled among rolling hills and charming villages, the hotel is a newsworthy gem just two hours by car from Budapest. Stylish décor, welcoming common spaces, and attentive staff made our stay truly enjoyable. From the vineyards, where indigo-blue grapes glistened in the late-autumn morning sun, to the breakfast spread of fresh local fare, every detail felt thoughtful. Dinner was a highlight—refined traditional dishes paired with innovative flavors and an exceptional selection of Gere wines. Our character-filled room offered a tranquil retreat, while the visit to the wine cellar beneath the newly renovated restaurant was both fascinating and unforgettable.

It was very uncomfortable in the rooms, as we were not able to control the air conditioning. We kept complaining and were told it would be adjusted, but it never was. This made sleeping very difficult and made it extremely uncomfortable.
Wine selection was good. The massage was okay. I have had worse, but also better.
