Splendide parc et bâtiments d’époque . Personnel très agréable
La décoration mériterait un sérieux renouvèlement. Les canapés en tissus du bar et du bâtiment principal sont sales , incompatibles avec ce standing

Walking back to MesaStila after 10 years felt walking back to a fairy tale place, where you wish to come back again and again. The estate is so authentic and beautiful in each single detail and the settings are just breathtaking. Nature is at its best and the staff is friendly and professional. A dream come true to go back!

The villa we stayed in was incredible, I specifically selected the villa's with mountain view and the view (when not overcast) from the balcony was beautiful. The interior is meticulously well kept to retain the heritage look, but with all creature comforts. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower. All the meals we had were very high quality, it was great being able to choose as many items as we liked for breakfast. The dinner selection was sufficient, given there is only one restaurant and all of the Asian food we had was very high quality. The inclusion of afternoon tea at no cost was also appreciated; the kids especially liked the different items each day. The grounds of the estate are very pleasant, with great views of the mountains on either side, on clear days, and surrounded by the coffee plantations. The turkish baths are really lovely and definitely worth trying during your visit.
Areas for improvement: The lounge bar was under renovation at the time, and there was no substitute venue to spend evenings in, with the exception of the restaurant and your own villa. This was very disappointing, given the amount of available venues at the hotel that are very underutilised. The beautiful clubhouse at the centre of the estate is filled with furniture, and could easily be utilised as a lounge bar plus a games room (it is really big). Instead, it is used as an office by the staff only in the daytime, which is really not making the use of this beautiful venue. The cost of the excursions and the spa is very high. We would have done more excursions and used the spa on multiple occasions during our stay if it was priced more competitively.

The location was great, it is in the remote hills and makes a welcome change from the busy cities. There is a lot of land to walk around and explore. The staff are incredibly attentive and very friendly, they truly want you to have a good time. There are multiple tours a day so you can bu busy if you want to be and the tour guide is exceptional. He is very knowledgable and is a highlight of the trip. The breakfast is tasty. The spa is brilliant and worth it.
The restaurant is the only place you can eat for lunch and dinner as you are in the mountains and unfortunately the prices are extortionate for this reason. I would have been okay with it if the food was exceptionally tasty, but it was not of high quality, given that we were in such great country for food. The flavours were lacking depth. Because of this, on the second night we tried to find an alternative place to eat but the road outside the hotel is an exceptionally busy motorway road with large trucks so really have no choice. We ended up eating from an Indomart. Secondly, there are lots of mosquitos in the room which is not a fault of the hotel at all but just a warning as there appears to be mosquito nets over the beds but they are not sealed actually so they do not offer protection. Finally, there are large rodents in the area and you can hear them squeaking in your roof while you sleep!
