Great staff. Great location if travelling to/from Charmartin Train Station. Great breakfast. Various places to eat within 5 minutes walk from hotel and station.
Plain rooms. Someone in the hotel was smoking as we could smell it in from circulating air in the bathroom.

Very easy to get to train station Chamartín (literally across the road) which is why we picked it. Breakfast was OK. Housekeeping fast and efficient. Staff were very pleasant. No surprise. It’s Spain. People are awesome.
The place is very tired. No or lousy signage to ramp entry, so we and heaps of others hauled out luggage up the front stairs unnecessarily. Also pool shut for the season from 20 September. It’s still 30 degrees in Madrid! I missed the fine print on that as the pool was a drawcard.
