Das Hotel Estela Barcelona in Sitges ist insgesamt ein sehr gepflegtes und angenehmes Hotel. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, und auch die gesamte Anlage machte einen ordentlichen Eindruck. Man merkt zwar, dass das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, allerdings wird es gut instand gehalten.
Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist das nette Interior-Design mit viel Kunst im Haus, was dem Hotel einen eigenen Charakter gibt. Auch der Empfang war sehr freundlich – der Rezeptionist war wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Etwas schwächer war leider teilweise der Service an der Bar, der nicht ganz auf dem Niveau war, das man sich bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwarten würde.
Die Lage ist ruhig direkt am Hafen, allerdings relativ weit vom Zentrum von Sitges entfernt. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor dem Hotel, die Fahrt ins Zentrum dauert etwa 25 Minuten. Zu Fuß sind es rund 2 Kilometer, ebenfalls etwa 25 Minuten. Taxis waren leider schwer zu bekommen und für die kurze Strecke überraschend teuer.
Zu beachten ist auch, dass im Hotel Hochzeitsfeiern stattfinden. Unser Zimmer lag zum Hintergarten hin, wo während unseres Aufenthalts zwei Hochzeiten praktisch direkt vor unserem Balkon gefeiert wurden. Am Abend war es dann aber ruhig, daher war es letztlich kein großes Problem.
Alles in allem ein schönes, sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel mit besonderem Design, freundlichem Empfang und ruhiger Hafenlage – aber mit kleinen Abstrichen bei Barservice, Entfernung zum Zentrum und gelegentlichen Veranstaltungen.

Bit far out of town but worth it. Rooms are spectacular. Lots of art to stimulate you. Food in restaurant was great especially fish stew

About 30 minutes to airport and €80 for taxi, one way. Seaview is breathtaking. But all around is mostly under construction. High prices for everything, even bottled water.

The pool is tiny, the internet is dire, the room itself is nice though lacking any kettle / coffee / tea or anything of the sort
