We had a great stay! The hotel has an amazing garden and a beautiful outdoor pool – I didn’t use it because it was a bit cold, but in summer it must be wonderful together with the garden. We were upgraded to a larger room for free, which was a nice surprise. The rooms are a bit worn, but very clean and the towels were changed every day. Breakfast didn’t have a big variety, but it was okay. There’s parking available, though it took us a little while to find it since it’s on the side of the building. Overall, a lovely hotel and we’d definitely stay here again!

The staff and I mean everyone, from frount desk to room cleaning were super helpful at any time of day or night.
My friends and I were first time at the town and hotel and had allot of questions which were always dealt with in an efficient and friendly way.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious with good air conditioning.
Food and drink at the hotel was varied, well prepared and delicious.
Peter in the breakfast room was a wonderful host to us and so helpful with our trips to nearby places.
Outside the gardens offer a lovely shady oasis of calm with a nice swimming pool and seating areas under the shade.
Inside the lounge was large and well furnished.
Our favourite place to sit was the beautiful terrace.
The accessability to the town centre was brilliant and reached in an easy and pleasant ten minutes stroll. There's a lovely bar opposite the hotel gates which is fab and friendly. The hotel doesn't really have a bar as such, although they very happily bring drinks to you anytime when asked.
The bar outside, although not run by the hotel, is great if you want more of a convivial bar atmosphere so stop by if it's late, before going back to your comfy room.
I cannot commend the staff and their treatment of us enough. You'd be hard pressed to find anywhere friendlier. Absolutely loved our stay.
The hotel is rather dated and peeling in places and doesn't look attractive when you arrive by car. It has a sort of charming faded glamour.
However, a member of staff explained that the hotel will be closed from November for refurbishment.
I can't wait to see what it's like after, even though I'm sure it'll be more expensive..

Good location with ample parking. Quiet and set in nice gardens. It’s a little dated but comfortable.
The first rooms we were given looked out to a brick wall which we could have tolerated for an overnight stay. However, we were staying five nights and chose this hotel because of its surrounding gardens, so we asked to be moved. They couldn’t immediately, but did the following day and the view was lovely. Unfortunately in one room the tv did not have any signal. The bathrooms were modern, however the shower cubicles were tiny! I’m average size but could not bend sufficient to wash my legs and feet and I cannot imagine how larger people could manage at all.
