The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was homely. There were lots of facilities such as a gym and a sauna and massage rooms; however the gym didn’t have much, just a few machines and a few dumbbells and treadmills.

Not coming back

Not much to like this time around—the room was stuffy and small and just clean enough, the food was simple and bone dry and the staff overworked and unfriendly.

I visited Gasthof Rößle around the same of the year in 2018 and was incredibly charmed by it. Not so much this time around—it felt hectic, generally unpleasant. The gasthof seemed crowded, the restaurant way too packed with regards to COVID and the staff was simply stressed out. I noticed multiple staff members bickering amongst each other in the restaurant and the next morning, upon checkout I waited at the reception desk for about 5 minutes for one of the roughly 5 staffers who were running around to check me out. When I asked for a second time if I could please check out, I was answered “yes I’d also love for you to check out”, after which he disappeared off into the distance to do some other very important task before helping me. I was left hanging for too long and decided to just drop the keys on the desk and leave. I hate doing this, but you have my card details, so I’m sure you’ve found a way to get your money. Edit: you’ve overcharged my card by roughly €20. Definitely never coming back.

Wunderschöner Urlaub. Kommen sicherlich wieder. :-)

Sehr schönes Hotel und Gegend. Frühstück und Abendesse waren sehr gut und reichlich. Personal war nett und hilfsbereit. Fitnessstudio gut ausgestattet. Drei verschiedene Sauna. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Temperatur im Hotel und Zimmer war immer zu hoch/warm. Auch wenn man die Heizung ausgeschaltet hat. Das Schwimmbad war ziemlich klein. Im Zimmer keine Möglichkeit Sachen aufzuhängen. z.B. Nasse Handtücher vom Schwimmbad oder Sauna.

Sehr ruhiges Zimmer, schöne Aussicht vom Balkon. Gutes Frühstück, viel Auswahl - besonders die frischen Früchte waren super. Kleine aber gute Saunalandschaft.

Das war sicher unser erster und letzter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel.

Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und gut.

Das Nachtessen liess sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Unter einem A la Carte - Menu verstehe ich eine bessere Speise. Der Teller war völlig überladen (miserable Präsentation), die Beilage (Späzle) wurde kalt serviert. Im Gegensatz zum Personal war der "Hausherr" unfreundlich.

ein perfekter Kurztrip in den nahen Schwarzwald

Die Lage ist einfach schön, die Ausstattung des Hotels lässt keine wünsche offen, das Personal war durchwegs sehr freundlich, professionell und zuvorkommend. Schöne Spa-Landschaft mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Vom Holet aus kann man schöne Wandertouren z.B. auf den Hochkopf starten. Eine Außergewöhnliche Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet, besonders die Brötchenvarianz war überragend. Dieses Hotel ist uneingeschränkt weiter zu empfehlen!!!

Wunderschönes, gemütliches Hotel.

Wunderschönes, gemütliches Hotel, auch für Familien geeignet. Sehr schön renovierte Zimmer mit herrlichem Holz-Duft. Tolles Hallenbad. Überall im Hotel gibt es hübsche Details wie die schönen grossen Landschaftsbilder. Sehr gutes Restaurant. Im Garten gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz und ein Gehege mit grossen Vögeln (Nandus).

Wir wären gerne länger geblieben!

Leider war der Zimmer-Code bei meinem check-in noch nicht freigeschaltet, ich musste somit den Weg von der Rezeption zum Zimmer 2 x zurücklegen - ziemlich langer Weg.

Schön gelegenes Hotel im Südschwarzwald.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön im Grünen mit viel Platz rundherum. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze, Sitzplätze innen und außen. Der Pool hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Bei dem schönen Wetter wären außerhalb mehr Liegen notwendig gewesen. Das Essen war bodenständig und gut. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr nett und auskunftfreudig.

Das Servicepersonal war nicht professionell und gehört besser geschult. Bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwarten wir, dass der Kellner weiß wie richtig eingedeckt und serviert wird. … und dass der Gast verstanden wird.
