Wonderfull days in Köln.

The stuff is awasome. The staff is wonderful, the lady who greeted us was the nicest. The owner was also there and had a good sense of humor. A small and cute hotel, where we will definitely come back again.

Great stay for a buisness trip

Our stay at Hotel Imperial was great. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was helpful in bringing our luggadge directly to the room. It is a bit small, but still very good value for money. The location is ok. It is not at the city center, but it is close enough to public transport for it to be quite comfortable. The neighborhood also felt quite safe. Will probably book again next time I am in Cologne.

Okay hotel and not happy with the night manager

The property is located at a quiet residential area.

The night shift manager is very rude. He greeted us politely yet when my colleague encountered WiFi issue, he claimed that it’s “normal” since she was staying in an “economy” room. WiFi issue supposed to be in every room so you can claim you have WiFi in your hotel and especially for business travel. Then when she brought up her concern with bed bug, he didn’t mention that she can change a room and the next day we confronted him, he asked why we didn’t insist on changing a room. He even questioned my colleague with “You think our country is dirty?” when she was simply checking her new room was checked thoroughly…he was taking this way too personal and show unprofessional behavior.

room is not comfortable, staff is not helpull when im checking out i ask to the guy in the counter if i can use the wash room, he said we clean that wash room already go to other side of the building, my uber is waiting outside im in a hurry is that how you treat your client? sorry hotel imperial i cannot recommend you to my friends and relatives.

Very lovely, friendly hotel, in a perfect location!

The Imperial was a PERFECT choice for me, a solo traveler. It’s located in a very quiet, lovely, tree-lined neighborhood, far enough away from the town noises, crowds & traffic yet close enough to reach cafés & shop quickly on foot + public transportation (5-min walk to closest U-bahn stn). My room was spotless, nicely lit, very well insulated from sounds from other guests & very spacious & generously furnished. The best part for me was the super friendly staff :-) I was welcomed with a smile & helpfulness every time I walked by reception. I felt very well looked-after during my entire stay. Absolutely lovely, friendly staff! If I’m ever in Köln again, I would not hesitate to return to this hotel!

Clean hotel in good location

Very courteous staff. Good location in a residential area. Spacious room. Provided extra bed with no additional cost for my child

1. Room was on the first floor and there were installations outside the window. So, there was no view. Had to keep the curtains closed all the time. 2. Bed was not very comfortable. Would have liked the option to have a queen instead of twin. 3. Toiletries are not provided. 4. Getting street parking might be tough at times as it's a packed residential area.

Ideal venue located a bit out the busy centre, comfortable, cosy, with kind and helping people

Nice and quiet hotel run by a small team of friendly, smiling and caring people. Our room was rather small but offered everything we would expect for a short stay (citytrip in Köln), including a private secured garage. The buffet breakfast offered a wide choice of food, scrambled eggs, bacon, a choice of cheeses, yogourts, fruits and cereals, completed with a kind and attentive service offering tea, coffee and more. Even if the venue is a bit out of the city centre (about 15 minutes walk to the cathedral and train station), it guarantees a perfect quietness and peaceful nights.

Highly recommend the hotel for the people and the rooms

The people are great. Very welcoming, friendly and willing to help you with advise. The hotel rooms are almost new and the bathrooms are superb.

Breakfast is a little too expensive and the location is not the best, although the underground is very close and will take you fast to the city centre. Also finding a parking space can be tricky.

A very nice experience

The hotel is placed in a quiet area. The staff was very nice and the room was very clean and comfortable. I liked the furniture, the bed and the mirrors. It s 30 minutes walking till main train station, cathedral or downtown, but there's also metro.
