very quiet location in a friendly neighbourhood with a supermarket and bakery within 5 minutes walk . Very helpful host who was available to help answer any questions and lives on the next floor above.

Not in the heart of Split, but within walking distance of most things you would want to do. 15 minute walk to the Palace. Beach is more like half an hour.
Josip, the host was very responsive. The shower head was not working properly. We let Josip know on Sunday and on Monday he arrived with a new shower head and installed it in a minute or so. Everything worked fine after that.
My wife injured her foot while in town. We messaged and we're able to stay a little later on checkout day.
You can sign in to Netflix or Amazon Video on the apartment TV.
AC works well.
Would have been nice to be a bit closer to a beach. It is a walk up, so it's a couple flights of stairs.
