Rummet var bra städat, sängarna ok. Utsikten var toppen.

Inga glas på rummet, bara 2 tråkiga plastmuggar i badrummet. Fanns vattenkokare, men inga muggar. Det gick nästan inte att vrida om termostaten på duschen. Man behövde vara jättestark i nyporna.

The lodge was in a fantastic location. Our room faced beautiful Lake Siljan and was less than a one-minute walk to the breakfast hall. The on-site café was convenient and stayed open until 10 PM. The lodge is also just a two-minute walk from a petrol station, which is ideal for those on a road trip. There’s a small gift shop connected to the reception area, perfect for souvenirs. Breakfast included halal-friendly and vegetarian options, and the host kindly asked about our dietary preferences in advance, which we really appreciated. The lodge is close to several attractions such as Dössberget, Långbryggan, Styggforsen, and Rättvik Church. It’s also only about 40 minutes from Mora, where you can stop for photos at Vasaloppet’s start and finish points, visit the Zorn Museum, and explore the charming town.

One thing to note is that bedding and towels are not included in the room rate and need to be rented separately. While this may be a common practice for local guests, it was a bit unexpected for us as international travellers. That said, it didn’t significantly affect our overall enjoyable stay.
