Es war ein super Aufenthalt in ruhiger und idyllischer Lage am See Rämen. Wir waren vorab skeptisch, da es sich um eine Art "Feriendorf" handelt - also ob es dadurch laut und unruhig werden könnte. Eigenartiger Weise war das genaue Gegenteil der Fall - trotz der vorhandenen Urlauber war alles sehr leise und lauschig :-) ... wir konnten sogar Prachttaucher und eine Greifvogelbrut beobachten. Der Badestrand ist nicht weit entfernt und gut durch eine Steinbarriere im Wasser auch für kleinere Kinder bestens geeignet und wurde von uns täglich genutzt (manchmal auch nur Abends als schneller Sprung und purem Spaß). Rämshyttan ist auch ein super Ausgangspunkt für jede Menge möglicher Wanderungen durch die nahe gelegenen Naturparkreservate oder Museen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist ein Ausflug nach Sundborn zum Haus von Karin und Carl Larsson, welches im farbenfrohem Stil des Künstler-Powerduos am Ende des 19. Jahrhundert entstanden ist. Und natürlich ein Walk durch die schöne Stadt Falun und der Kupfergrube, welche zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe zählt. Hier haben wir uns direkt einen Eimer der original schwedischen roten Farbe "Faluröd" oder auch "Rödfärg" als Urlaubsmitbringsel eingesackt. Da können wir nachträglich noch vom Urlaub zehren, wenn wir Dekoelemente für unser eigenes Holzhaus basteln. Also rundum ein perfekter Urlaub!
