Princesa Galiana by Maxi Hoteles

Great location. Lovely walk in to the old town. Staff were very helpful. They were able to book a taxi for us to go out and allowed us to store our bags on the last day until our pick up time. Beds were very comfortable. Room was lovely and clean and quiet.

Would've liked breakfast at the hotel but the restaurant was closed. However they were able to direct us to a lovely cafe next door.

I had stayed before and found it nice enough to return to, despite some reservations about staff attitude. Unfortunately, my impression that foreign tourists are held in total contempt was confirmed in a most unprecedented encounter

I was publicly shouted at and humiliated by a young woman - flashing her eyes, castigating me and pointing her finger in my face. Apparently I had mistakenly opened the wrong door to the public lavatory. Her reaction was extreme and utterly unprofessional. It completely marred my stay and I left Toledo as soon as I possibly could. When we travel alone in your beautiful country, we trust that we will receive the customary kindness and great hospitality. This experience was distressing beyond belief and I would never return.
