Soviet-style building but spacious room, quiet with nice hills views

We stayed in Mountain View double room . It felt luxurious with amazing views. I would highly recommend not only for stay and also for their breakfast

Very pleased with staying here for a single night. While it was a little pricy for a single student studying in Iceland, the room, breakfast, and hospitality are well worth the stay. Honestly, every staff member was trying their very hardest to make me feel comfortable and satisfied. Felt like a king, honestly. Love it. Would stay here again 100%.

This hotel is nothing at all like the pictures on the website. The staff was helpful and polite but the room was horrible. We were in our room briefly to put our luggage in and left. The room smelled musty so we opened the window hoping it would be better when we got back. Unfortunately we returned to discover the bathroom smelled strongly of urine. I washed it down with the shower and it made the smell more intense. We ended up leaving after that night and stayed elsewhere, even though we lost out on two more nights we already paid for. It was disappointing that no one asked why we were leaving two days earlier and forfeiting so much money. I wouldn’t stay there again if it were free. Stay far away from this place. The pool shown in the photos was empty and overgrown. This property is very misrepresented. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it did have a very good breakfast buffet that was included. The waitstaff were also very kind and polite. Good employees but bad facilities.
