It was quiet and nice

Lars welcomed us very warm and showed us around. He is easy going and it was nice that he invitednus to the campfire. The apartment was spacious and tidy. The facilities were good and there was parking.

A Little Slice of Paradise in the Danish Countryside Our stay at this beautiful farm in Billund was nothing short of magical. We rented a small house on the property, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace, a feeling we had been longing for after coming from a bustling city. The quiet, the fresh air, the open space, the flowers everywhere, it was exactly what we needed. The farm is lovely and very well maintained. Horses, chickens, and cats roam around, and there are opportunities to go horseback riding. The facilities are top-notch, and having our own kitchen was a huge plus. We were able to cook our own meals, and the nearby supermarket made everything convenient. Our little house was spotless, the beds incredibly comfortable, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. But what truly made this stay unforgettable were the owners, Lars and his wonderful wife, Annika. From the very first moment, they made us feel like family. Their warmth, kindness, and generosity touched us deeply. They go out of their way every day to make sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. The connection we felt with them was immediate and genuine. One of the highlights of the stay was the communal fire pit area, which is sheltered so you can enjoy it even in the rain. There’s a table where you can bring your food or make a barbecue, and it’s the perfect place to meet other travelers from around the world. Lars and Annika are always there in the evenings, creating a cozy, inclusive atmosphere that brings everyone together. We are truly sad to be leaving. But we know one thing for certain: if we ever return to Denmark, this is where we’ll be staying again. This place didn’t just give us a peaceful holiday, it gave us beautiful memories and a feeling of home.

Enjoyed that the kids could play in the garden!

A big bonus for the place is the garden where the children can freely play and were allowed to eat strawberries from the garden.

As there are horses around, then there are lots of flies. As they don't bite, then they just bother you.

Great apartment on farm for large family to stay while visiting Lego.

Lars and his family were very friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure our kids had an enjoyable time on the farm. We rode horses, played with legos, jumped on the trampoline and pedaled the mini bike/scooters.

No issues. Billund is a short 15 minute drive away.

Nice country side location close to Billund. Having own small Legoland (large amount of lego bricks to play with), Chickens, Horses, Cats etc. Nice BBQ place to have an evening chat with owners or other guests.

This stay is rather special. It is focused on making your kids happy and give parents some well deserved peace. You can let them roam and discover freely without fear. Tons of toys, a fantastic playground. Animals and this amazing horse riding experience. The bonfire at night with bbq option (our kids did marshmallows)was great. Kids fell drop-dead into hotel quality mattresses. They hardly enjoyed the strong shower and did not care for fast Internet. Simply because they were tired from being kids. A wholesome experience which can totally be a full day experience rather then going to lalandua or legoland Both hosts are not only amazing with their animals but children as well. Cant wait to visit them again on our next trip

🤔I missed a bit a microwave but then preparing baby bottles with hotwater fm stove costs only 2-3minutes more. And you feel relaxed because of the whole atmosphere.. So.. No nothing to complain. Did I say I loved the beds? Come close to marriott standard but in a more happy and satisfying environment

Very friendly owner, showed us around and offered a lift to the nearest groceries. The apartment itself was clean, cosy & spacious. Will 100% recommend!

There are no shops/cafes/restaurants in the walking distance, so it makes sense to take the car.

A very personable and charming experience. We felt very welcome. Loved the outdoor communal BBQ and bonfire facilities. We were even offered a trip going horse riding, but unfortunately didn't have time due to going to LEGO land.

We stayed in Denmark for two weeks and this place was our favorite. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the staff treat you like family, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. If you or your family like horses, wine around the campfire, good company, bouncing on a trampoline, playing with a huge Lego collection, wondering through beautiful gardens, or just hanging out on your front porch drinking your morning coffee, then this is the place for you. Lars, Annika, and Inge couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Tusind tak!

Great place to stay

The huge beautiful garden with play area for the kids and outdoor BBQ, the house was very clean and cosy. Our kids loved the free horse riding. The owner and girls at the horse riding were super nice and friendly. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer.

Very nice hosts who really make you feel welcome. The property is fabulous. The most beautiful garden. Proximity to Billund makes it a great place to stay if you want to visit LEGOLAND.

Obviously this is not a fanciful city hotel with and handful of stars so if you want a top modern room then you should go elsewhere. But for a lot of other reasons this really a fabulous place to stay!

Booked this place because of the pony/horse riding and it lived up to our expectations! my girl has a wonderful time with “Freeya” the pony who looks like hippo! The campfire was absolutely fabulous, we weren’t expecting it and we were blown away! definitely the best experiential learning for a city dwellers like us.

This is such a special place. Lars and Annica create such a warm welcoming atmosphere that just a few hours after our arrival we were heading to town with our new Finnish friends to buy meat to grill on the fire and wine for communal drinking. The children played...there are multitudes of things for them to do including lots of Lego to build. We had a great time and we can't wait to return.

Charming property with great people.

We loved the hospitality of Lars and Annika ! They were welcoming and so helpful with all the things we could do since it was our first time in Denmark. We truly felt like part of the family by the end of our short stay. We also loved the beautiful gardens. Such a peaceful place.
