If you’re looking for quirky and beautiful..

Pierre the host was charming and welcoming. We love properties which are different and the chateau certainly was. It has a beautiful but jaded feel, handed down through generations. The sitting room was transformed for breakfast. Beautiful music and simple (omelette, bread and yoghurt) and Pierre was able to provide me with a gluten free option.

I marked the property down on comfort as windows didn’t open, no plug in a bath with a handheld shower, no key for the door and a small double bed but the ambiance and jaded beauty compensated for this

The breakfast was wonderful. The chateau is beautiful as are the grounds.

The train line runs right behind the property and is very active. Showering was a bit of a challenge with a handheld shower in a slippery bathtub.

Unforgettable memories

The friendliness of Eric and Pierre, very welcoming and gave as a lot of information about the property historically. Lovely breakfast with beautiful Music…. The place is really beautiful and beautiful Garden.. and right beside the River Seine. With many Bardges going by. Plenty of Car parking within the grounds . So safe and secure place. And Eric’s Mum is so sweet. We will definitely return and recommend to all our friends.

Gorgeous stay as a family of 5

The host was super nice and welcoming, he talked in spanish with us. He told us the story about the chateau and the family since the time of the King Charles IV. The room was spacious and gorgeous with a big bathroom with a tub and beautiful views of the back garden. We had a very good night sleep. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with an omelette, breads, jams, coffee, hot chocolate and juice. The stay is 100% recommended near Fountainbleu.

A relaxing pitstop at a lovely chateau w/ their hosts

Our first night in France and couldn't have asked for a better spot- host was super pleasant and truly seemed to be welcoming us into his home. Breakfast was very nice, and the area around the chateau also made for a nice walk

Enjoyed staying at the chateau and visiting nearby towns, beautiful area, warm, helpful hosts.

We spent the first 2 nights of our trip here. Lovely views from the windows. Relaxing environment. Pierre and family provided suggestions for local walks and places to visit and eat. They also provide a delightful breakfast and they have parking for you on site. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend.

Castle near Seine

Very nice hoast, the two of them that I met, one at arrival, one at departure. Always a pleasure to book a stay in a castle.

The problem with this castle is that the railway was built right behind it and the noise is atrocious. Especially at night. Every 5 minutes or less there is a train passing by. It is not their fault, obviously.

yummy breakfast, good and enough. Place is exceptional, nice view & location, calm, front of our room is a lake view, back is a forest garden. Staff are friendly, we have a welcome drink and for 4 beers, we paid 10Euro. Well, book this Hotel for an amazing experience. Alma

A Great place to spend a nigh or two. Lot of ground to walk around the Chateau. Very interesting history told by George. A good breakfast served in the main dining room. You would be staying in a 100+ year old place so not everything is shining and spotless. Can not be expected to be. We stayed in the Master bedroom on third floor. Unforgettable!!! It was full moon. Thank you George.

There is still work to be done for example the surrounding buildings, some paint work in the bathroom and in the chapel. Some work is in the process. The costs must be unimaginable. I am sure our fees will not go very far. we were the only gusts that night.
