Three Little Birds

My favorite guesthouse in Sri Lanka! At first I booked only for one night but ended up staying four nights. Peaceful and beautiful place in Tangalle. Bit far from city center but close to nature that you can relax with no car sound. I saw waterbuffalos, birds, peacocks, lizards roaming around a wide field just from my window. Sitting in the balcony and watching them was my favorite thing. It's so amazing that Indika built this whole place on his own. Such a unique and wonderful place with lovely details he put his effort in. Wide and comfy bed and clean bathroom. I also enjoyed kayaking that Indika suggested. Kayaking in lagoon and mangrove forest, we spotted lots of different birds and beautiful sunset. You can walk to Tangalle beach or take a bus to Goyamboka beach, Hiriketiya, and Dikwella. I went there as a day trip while staying here. Dinner was provided in additional cost, which was delicious. He offered laundry service with very affordable cost and it was way better than other laundry places. It felt like home during my stay. Indika truely cares his guests. He is such a nice and kind person. I enjoyed chatting with him. I'm definitely coming back here when I visit Sri Lanka again. I highly recommend here. Thank you so much Indika:)

The host is very attentive and hands-on that many guests will appreciate.

The host Indikha is a kindhearted man who went above and beyond to make sure you have the best time here. On top of this you can wake up and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea on the patio that overlooks a lake with a lot of wildlife. If you need some transportation Indikha will gladly rent you his motorcycle. I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience the Sri Lankan hospitality.

We just spent an incredible time at this amazing home stay and we can't recommend it enough! The room was huge, clean, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the surrounding jungle. The breakfast was abundant and delicious, with a variety of local specialties. But what truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of the owner. He treated us like family, taking us to a fantastic dinner at Mango Mango restaurant and even arranging a wild buffalo spotting adventure right behind the hotel! His kindness, generosity, and passion for sharing his country with visitors are truly inspiring. This is not just a home stay , it's an experience. You'll feel like you're part of the family, and you'll leave with unforgettable memories of the real Sri Lanka. We can't wait to come back and visit again soon!
