Room near the Airport

I stayed 18:00 PM to 11:30 AM and it was perfect. The room, like an apartment, is tucked away, private and very clean. It had everything I required and more. Maria communicates with great clarity on WhatsApp and everything was easy and comforting. Transport to and from the airport was lovely with Maria. She is thoughtful and kind. The local shuttle service offered by a restaurant in town was a delight and useful. I was picked up, explored the town for good 30 minutes before I sitting down for dinner, and then shuttled back to the room. Nice water pressure at shower. Comfortable bed. In the morning I enjoyed the terrace with a table and chairs. I would 100% stay again.

The bath towel was a bit rough-textured but absolutely clean and served its purpose. I only comment because the hand towel was softer to touch than the bath towel. I could hear the airplane faintly in the distance which should not have surprised me, but the room supplied earplugs if needed, and I did not need them. I only noticed once the airplane sound.

Very helpful friendly host above and beyond

This would have to be my favourite stay after 8 months of travelling. Maria was so lovely and accommodating, she collected me from the ferry port and dropped me to the airport the following day. The room had everything I needed and more, plus a glass of her homemade lemonade. I was solo and felt super safe and looked after.

Maria was such an excellent host! She organised to pick us up from the airport and drop us off at the ferry port early in the morning which was very helpful. Her place is very clean and comfortable and was exactly what we needed. We will hopefully be back one day!
