We stayed at Kintail Cottage during easter holidays with my family for a peaceful weekend escape, and it was just what we needed. The location is absolutely stunning, Just a two-minute walk to the beach, and you can hear the waves from the cottage. We spent our mornings watching the sunrise over the water and our evenings walking along the shore. The cottage itself is cozy and beautifully kept, with a coastal theme throughout. It was spotless on arrival and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and made evenings extra cozy. Our favorite part was the facing the sea and it was perfect for morning coffee and enjoy the sea breeze.Overall, we loved every minute and would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful seaside getaway.Regards,Bhanu

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The village is small but has access to everything you need within a short drive. The accommodation itself is lovely, so homey and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything and we couldn’t have asked for more! Thanks so much for having us! Trip of a lifetime.

Staying at Kintail Cottage was fantastic and just what we needed. The cottage is on a busy road but if you look beyond this it is in a smashing location for exploring towards Kings Cave in one direction and Rockfield...and onwards to Tarbet Ness lighthouse. David, the owner, came to make sure that we okay and if we needed anything. Nothing was required except to say a huge thank you for a home baked banana bread!! Really nice and comfortable stay!

Once we decided to have a trip back to UK we wanted to come up to Scotland again. Loved staying at Kintail last year so was happy to stay again this time. Was sad to say goodbye today. Thank you Kristal and David for letting us stay again.

Very nice!
Since there were no pics of the living room I wondered if we would be comfy.
There were 2 reclining couches and a recliner chair so we were all very comfortable.
The bathroom is downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs . The kitchen was huge and a great place to have coffee and plan our day. This cottage is in a great location to do the NC 500 but I recommend staying a couple nights at least on the road.

The photographs of this little cottage just don't do it justice. It's beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished with every possible convenience. Perfectly located with the most amazing sea views from every room...stunning! The garden is a little sun trap and just around the corner is a kovely, friendly pub that serves amazing food...we can't wait to return! We wish we could have brought our little dog as she would have loved the nearby beach. A truly memorable week, thank you Christel!

I took my elderly parents for a wee week break and the cottage was excellent wirh everything needed and importantly foe parents comfy, clean beds. The local Balintore Inn served lovely food and everyday we took off in the car and seen so many things that are not too far away. We were welcomed with homemade Banana Loaf and chocolates. No issues at all very pleasant stay

Disappointed in downstairs toilet facility while bedrooms were upstairs. Toilet ceased to work on last night of our stay and nobody could be contacted. Infestation of wood lice at back door. Oven and microwave had not been cleaned. Cottage located on busy noisy, main village road which was disturbing esp early morning. Very spacious rooms with modern kitchen with all mod cons. Friendly welcome when we arrived with milk and bread left for us.

We absolutely love it at this cottage it is in a perfect location for so many interesting visits.
The cottage has everything that you need for a stay of however long you like. It is spotlessly clean, the furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is lovely & open & has all the kitchen equipment & more. The beds are comfy & the bedding is lovely.
Chtistel is your host along with her husband David they are the friendliest people & have lots of knowledge of local areas. Balintore is a smallish village, has a good pub, great little Spar shop & an absolutely massive clean proper holiday beach. We WILL be back. xx

Christel came and greeted us shortly after arrival and made us feel so welcome. The views of the ocean were amazing, and we settled in quite nicely. It was a comfy place to relax and kick back after a busy day of sightseeing and had everything we needed. Enjoyed our evening walks along the beach. Met Mike, the owner of the Balintore Inn, on our last night when we went for dinner. We were invited to join him and a few more locals to sit around the bar and spent the remainder of the evening enjoying a few glasses of wine while chatting with them. Good thing it was only a 2-3 minute walk back to the house! These are the memories that will last a lifetime.

The property was well loved by its owners, everything you could possibly need was there. A real home feeling when you walked through the door, stunning location, well kept gardens, it was quite sad when the time came to leave. A great base with plenty to do nearby, or space to just chill out. Loved it, thanks.

Friendly Balintore
Spacious, spotlessly clean, characterful property, well situated in a friendly community. A great base to explore the surrounding area. Balintore Inn serves a tasty meal and the Seaboard Cafe is good for lunch. The shop in the village is very well stocked. All in a short walking distance to Kintail. We were well supported by Christel the owner with excellent communication on all levels. We experienced a sudden cold snap during our stay but once the house warmed up and we got to grips with the inset log stove we were nice and cosy. The large living room (not featured) is of a traditional style and the modern kitchen diner is perfect for home cooking. We enjoyed our holiday in the house especially waking up to fantastic views of the waves.
Thank you Christel for kind hospitality and generosity.

Love it here.
Our 2nd stay here at Kintail Cottage & it will not be the last. It’s a very comfortable & clean cottage with everything you would need. We love the little sun house & deck at the top of the back garden, just the place for a quiet coffee.
Christel the owner is the most friendly lady, she really wants you to have a wonderful holiday. 😁

There was sausage eggs milk and a bottle of wine In the fridge . The garden is a lovely peaceful hideaway . Wonderful cottage and location
This is the third time we have stayed at one of Christel's properties and the second in Kintail. It is right opposite the sea so has wonderful views from the picture windows. The cottage is spacious, cosy and very well equipped with all you would need for your stay, and some extra touches from Christel (and her daughter who baked a great banana cake) to make you feel welcome. The garden has several areas where you can sit to watch and hear the wildlife or to eat al fresco.
The area has beautiful walks on the doorstep.
We returned home refreshed and we'll doubtless return before long.
