The location of this apartment is absolutely fantastic. It's directly on what is probably Komiža's best city beach, with a lovely view of the beach, sea and the town's beautiful seafront, and of course, there is no threshold at all to go and have a bath in the beautifully clear water. The apartment itself is also excellent, it has a large and well-equipped kitchen, two good-size bedrooms with comfortable beds (one with a double bed, one with two singles, which is what we are always looking for when travelling as a family, but which is surprisingly hard to find). The bathroom is spacious and has a very good shower. There is good A/C in the kitchen, while the bedrooms have tower fans, which worked well for us (if it gets really hot outside it might not – we never had over 35˚C). The apartment is not new and shiny, but has a well-loved, cosy air, and we felt very much at home there. Our host was very friendly and helpful, gave us useful tips about restaurants and tours, helped us reserve a parking spot for the week and responded very quickly to queries. On arrival we were welcomed with delicious home-made cream pastries and cherry liqueur, and when we left we got a jar of home-made fig jam as a parting gift!
We loved and used the balcony a lot (what a view!), but it's good to be aware of the fact that it's quite small (it's the top-floor unit that has the big shady terrace), and it gets a lot of sun from about 4pm. The beach does get busy, which also means a good deal of noise in the daytime, but it was never noisy at night, so we just took it as holiday ambience!

The photos truly depict just what a fantastic location the apartments are situated in. Our apartment had everything we needed and was a very good size. The property was a perfect example of traditional Croatian rustic charm with modern well equipped facilities. The owner, Dragon, was the absolute best host with lots of advice and tips for a fantastic holiday in Komiza. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this property.

Absolutely fantastic location and very clean!!! I will not forget the view from our window and going for a swim in that beautiful water every morning!
Lots of space in the apartment and loved the terrace!
Host Dragan who lives downstairs is very friendly and also helped us with our luggage up the stairs.
Vis is an incredible island and the closest island to the blue cave, because of this, the local tours get express entry. So happy we did a tour as we almost decided not too and it along with the visit to the green cave and stiniva bay were one of the highlights.
Beach towels are not provided.
