Clean and cozy room. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good breakfast buffet with a variety of choices to choose from. Accessible to top tourist attractions.

We stayed here as a family with two kids (7 and 8 years old) and had a comfortable stay. We came to Hoi An mainly to visit the Old Town, Coconut Village, and enjoy the lantern release. The room was spacious, with one double bed and two single beds, which was perfect for our family. As a Muslim family, we also enjoyed the breakfast, especially the summer bowl, with yogurt and fruits, along with bread and boiled eggs. The only downside was the location. It was still quite far from the Old Town, so we had to use Grab every time we wanted to go sightseeing. The hotel also has no lift, so carrying our luggage upstairs was not easy. Another small issue was the water pressure in the bathroom, which was too strong and couldn't be adjusted comfortably. Overall, it's a good hotel with spacious family rooms and a nice breakfast.

I was really disappointed with the attitude of one of the staff members at Volar. The female staff member was quite unfriendly and kept asking me for payment, which made my experience uncomfortable from the moment I checked in. I had already paid 50% of the room cost in advance, but as soon as I arrived, she asked me to pay the remaining balance immediately. The next morning she continued asking me to pay for the motorbike rental, even though I hadn’t finished using the service yet and my check-out wasn’t until around 7:30 PM???? I honestly don’t understand why there was such a constant need to ask the guest for payment. I also work in the tourism industry myself, so I find this kind of behavior extremely unprofessional. Continuously asking a guest for payment, especially when they have already paid 50% in advance, creates a very uncomfortable experience and is simply not the way I would expect a professional hospitality business to handle payments. On top of that, the staff member’s communication was quite cold and unfriendly. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t come back. Mình thực sự không hài lòng với thái độ của một bạn nhân viên tại Volar. Bạn nữ khá unfriendly và liên tục nhắc/đòi thanh toán, khiến trải nghiệm của mình ngay từ lúc check-in đã không được thoải mái. Mình đã bank trước 50% tiền phòng, nhưng vừa tới nơi bạn đã yêu cầu mình thanh toán phần còn lại ngay lập tức. Sáng hôm sau, bạn tiếp tục hỏi tiền xe, trong khi mình còn chưa sử dụng dịch vụ xong và khoảng 19h30 mình mới cần check out. Mình thực sự không hiểu tại sao lại phải liên tục nhắc khách thanh toán như vậy. Mình cũng làm trong ngành du lịch nên không thể chấp nhận việc liên tục đòi tiền khách, đặc biệt khi khách đã thanh toán trước một phần, theo mình là khá thiếu chuyên nghiệp và tạo cảm giác rất không thoải mái. Ngoài vấn đề này, cách giao tiếp của bạn nhân viên cũng khá lạnh nhạt và thiếu thân thiện. Với trải nghiệm như vậy thì mình sẽ không quay lại.
