The place is conveniently located near the centre of Merano and has a beautiful view of the mountains
The swimming pool is reasonably big, confortable and refreshing
The personnel is helpful and kind
The room we got was big and comfortable
The hotel lacks some modern amenities that one gets to expect although to be fair were not advertised in the Booking offer:
There is no lift
There is no AC or ventilator in the room which may get uncomfortably hot
There is no fridge in the room to keep cold drinks or refreshment
I don't mention these problems as a criticism, only that I feel that people booking at Pension Planta should be aware.

Das Rundum- Paket. Unterkunft, Gartenanlage und Pool, Verpflegung, Personal,, Service, Umgebung . Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ein gutes Frühstück machte einen gelungenen Start in den Tag,der Gastgeber war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam.

seh gutes und reichhaltiges frühstück und große Auswahl personal war sehr freundlich und immer für gute und nützliche ratschläge zu haben Zimmer und Außenanlage waren sauber und top gepflegt ,Pool war auch beheizt die Pension hat eine gute bus Anbindung und ist in ca 5-10 Minuten zu erreichen, wir kommen auf jedenfalls wieder sehr empfehlenswert!!!!!!
