Great value for money

Great value for money. The breakfast was a class for the price. The location was central enough to walk to downtown and at the same time not be too busy.

It got a bit loud during the night with people coming/leaving. The wifi really doesn't work well.

Not a 5 star hotel, but really good and decent for the money you spend!

Overall a very good experience! Value for money is very good, the staff was very helpful and kind, the breakfast was very rich and tasty, traditional Turkish breakfast style.The beds were comfortable, warm and cosy, and the location is pretty close to the bus stop and the monuments. Cleanliness was very good, also.

The main negative thing was the bathroom door, which wasn't easy to open or lock.

Good quality for the value

The hotel is close to Kayseri airport with 24h reception. The hotel replied to my questions prior our arrival by e-mail immediately. We arrived at 3:30am just for 5 hour sleep. The beds were comfortable. The furniture as well as the bathroom would require some renovation but overall, we felt fine and would return as it definitely is a fair quality for the value. The breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly, especially the lady serving the breakfast who didn’t wipe her smiles.

Nice, comfortable hotel for a short stay.

This is a nice hotel, located relatively close to the city center. We've come for mountain skiing, and for that the location was very good, as it's a short walk away from a bus that goes up to the ski resort. When we moved in, the rooms were clean although nothing special, and the administrator was helpful. A teapot was available in the room upon request. Rooms were very warm, to the point where we had to open windows to let some fresh air in (it was about -1 - -5 degrees outside during our stay). Breakfasts are served quite early so you can get to the ski resort by 9am.

Cleaning was not on schedule, and seemed to be occurring at random, or only when requested. Breakfast was very plain and samey - quite bad tea, a set of plastic-packaged spreads (honey, butter, jam, and smth else), about 3-4 thin slices of tomato, some olives, and bread. Also there was a hot dish - eggs in some form, but they were over-salted most days.

Cleanliness 9.5 /10 Staff. 9/10 Location. 8.5 /10 Hot water. 10/10 Room heating 10/10 Fridge. 9 /10 Sofa bed. 9/10 Value for Money 10 /10 Hair Dryer. 9/ 10 This hotel checks all the good boxes for me. The staff are amazing, the rooms, lifts, cafeteria and floors are very clean. Not a speck of dust in sight. Room had an AC, which we could set to Heat or Cold. On a scale of 1 - 10, I would give it a 9 ! It is not a luxury hotel but it will put many luxury hotels to shame in terms of cleanliness, customer care, and overall customer satisfaction. Also if you are ever coming to Kayseri for medical treatment, this hotel is best as its completely surrounded by hospitals, pharmacies and restaurants. There are mosques all over too for muslim guests. Well done, Korkmaz Residanz. You have earned yourself a valued customer.

Breakfast was too basic. Just eggs, tea , bread and some spreads day in, day out. We got tired of that very fast One of the cleaning ladies (not the small lady) never put new toiletries or enough towels, including the foot towel near the sink. I really didn't understand why she didn't. Sometimes, the shop owners in the nearby furniture shops would loudly call out to customers and disturb your afternoon nap. The bed wasn't too comfortable too so I slept on the sofa bed which was very comfy.

An excellent hotel for those who go skiing intensively in Erciyes.

- Location: extremely close to bus stop, where transfers to Erciyes Ski Center start (inter-city bus to Develi). Kayseri downtown is also in a walking distance. - Staff: absolutely hospitable and helpfull. There wasn't a request they didn't help with. - Heating: it was always warm in the room. Hot water available 24/7.

I WON'T say that I didn't like the breakfast. Just keep in mind that it is quite small and is more suitable for those who do not like to eat a lot in the morning. But it is available from 7 in the morning, and before leaving for the mountain you can have time to eat - it's great!
