Silken Atlantis Playa - Holiday Homes

The location is excellent, close to everything, including the beach. AC in the bedroom as well as in the main room. Extremely clean, everything is new. It has been remodeled, it looked like we were the first ones to use it. New utensils and dishes. This was our 7th stay in the building, this is the 3th company running the place. Fast response to questions. Everyone working in the building were nice and kind. We hope to come back again.

The remodeling comes with issues, like the curtains were not there yet (not am issue), nothing on the walls (few pics would be nice). Also, few things should have been checked, like minor leak at the shower, it would be an easy fix. Nearly every morning the internet was out for 10-20 min, not a major issue but it was somewhat annoying. Since there is a full kitchen, it would be nice to have salt and pepper, for example. It is just waste if everyone buys half kilo of salt and then it is thrown away.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here; the apartment met my expectations. Excellent location with the beach right outside the building. Very discreet and unobtrusive customer service. I give it a ten out of ten, honestly.

If you come by car, parking is difficult, but there are quite a few private garages in the area where you can leave your car for a good price.

Location is great and seems to be rather safe. It's near restaurants, supermarket, bars, etc. And of course the beach. There are 3 new TVs in the two bedrooms and the living room. Beds are a bit small but comfortable. Living room furniture is very good. Airco's work well.

Turning on the airco would make a very loud pump turn on roughly every 2 minutes for about 2 seconds. This went on for the whole night making it difficult to sleep. I tried contacting their office via their WhatsApp Business account and by calling them but texts were responded one day after and calls were not answered at all. The solution was to sleep without air conditioners. Kitchen and toilets are not bad, but have seen better days. Part of the kitchen furniture was falling (lower planks). Shower leaked water to the bathroom. Shower head wouldn't stay in place. Lots of small things that need to be fixed by a handyman.
