Comfortable aircon room and perfect location. From here it is 10min walk to Popoyo break and 20min to the beginners bay. Restaurants, groceries, surf rental, a great cocktail sunset beach bar are all just out-front. Giancarlo helped with all his local knowledge and organised a great trip to Lance’s left for us. When we come back to Popoyo we definitely stay here again.

Real homestay style. Your hosts are a very nice local family that lives on top floor. There are three units with bathrooms below. Not super fancy, but clean and comfortable with good fans and a shared kitchen.
Not an issue for me but the power goes out on average three days a week in this area. If you need dependable power/Internet, you might want to pay the big bucks for a place with solar backup or generator.

This is a small family run business and the family could not have been more welcoming and helpful!
My only complaint was the unstable electricity. We didn't have power the first night. No power means no fans. It made for a hot sleepless night. It should be noted that the power outage was not unique to Wild Waves. Every business in the region/ on the grid was without power.
