Cheap, great location, stuck in the 90s
The only thing this place has is location (~100m to the beach). It looks nice on the outside, however the inside paints a different picture.
The bathroom was dirty and old - looked like it saw the 90s. Old, dirty batteries with two separate handles for hot and cold, one of which that had them mixed up and was leaking, dirty plastic accessories, chipped enamel on toilet and wash basin. There was no place to hang the shower head during showers, so one had to turn it off or use it with one hand and wash self with the other. The shower was slippery and there was no handle to hold on to, felt unsafe. The bathroom also smelled of drain. There were no towels provided. The room had a funny smell, the bed was dirty - the linens may have been cleaned, but the pillows and covers smelled of old sweat. It was children or small person sized too - I am 195/6ft5" and had to sleep diagonally to not slam my feet and head on the wooden barriers. It would be enough to invest roughly 100€ and some improved cleaning practices and I would be glad to pay double what I have paid - instead I'm laying in bed writing this review. Seems the money was invested elsewhere - perhaps the answer to that would be the owners father who welcomed me with heavy shakes in the evening and a face red as a beetroot in the morning. No shakes though then, though saying 'ey boss maybe we get even now' I hardly consider professional. The owner, Anna, albeit polite, gave the impression of foremost being interested in getting paid, rather than my wellbeing and customer satisfaction. For some reason the doors to the room are with (tinted) glass - so if your neighbours want to watch TV after dark, you get a discotheque in your room. The rooms are not well sound proofed either, you can hear conversations from next door. Quite cold too, on the first night, with no way to heat it up as there was no heater or temperature control available to the guest. Overall, an excellent example of a great location with potential, not being utilised due to poor management. I'd be willing to give this place a chance..
