Zatrikion Santorini Villas

Host: Exceptionally warm and helpful, giving us plenty of great local tips for exploring the island. Villas: Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Amenities: Gorgeous swimming pool, perfect for unwinding. Location: Peaceful and quiet area, very close to charming Pyrgos. Amazing view, great for sunsets. Highly recommended for a truly relaxing getaway!

We absolutely loved our four nights at Zatrikion Villas and would highly recommend it. The location is fabulous, just outside the lovely town of Pyrgos (a 10-15 min walk away - hilly but great views). The views from the villas are stunning, as you’re on an hilltop in the centre of the island, overlooking the whole of the west coast, all the way up to famous Oia. And the pool is beautiful - and we often had it to ourself, even in late July. The whole complex was very quiet and relaxing too, with other guests all very friendly and respectful of each other. Our one-bedroom apartment was lovely - simple but spotlessly clean, with two sofa beds in the living room for our children, and a wonderful terrace that had amazing views and lead directly to the pool. What else? Kostas is a great host, always quick to answer when we had queries about car hire, recommendations of where to go etc. And Pyrgos, the town, is very charming. I particularly loved all the little terrace bars and cafes that are tucked away on rooftops as you meander up through the old streets to the hilltop church. The perfect place to explore Santorini (which is very small - you can easily see the whole island in a day) and enjoy total tranquility and huge views.

The pool area was very nice and cleaned regularly. The view from the villa was stunning.

The villa was very tired inside and needed updating. Facilities were poor and the hot tub was unusable due to the high chemicals needed - there was a green ring around the top of the tub! Location is a good 20 mins walk on the road to the town. Not suitable for younger families to walk this (was ok for us). It was very expensive for what we paid and what we received - very disappointed and wouldn’t book this again.
