Wisemans Retreat

Location and room size, comfortable room.

Bed could have been a little more comfortable and our room had a strange noise occurring every so often that I let management know about. They were understanding and easy to talk to and deal with.

We really enjoyed our stay, good value for money! The coffee vouchers for the cafe were a nice touch

The AC wasn’t hot - cold room for Aug.

Lovely quite room, we were able to walk up to the local pub for dinner.

We booked specifically to catch up on our laundry, we had stayed before and had done this previously. After checking in we were told there was no laundry for the public so that was dissapointing.

Close to everything. Grounds looked nice but being winter didn’t swim or spend much time in them.

Room was pretty rough with bricks missing in front of the exterior wall facade. Listing says kitchenette that you can cook in but when I brought a heat and eat meal back from across at the cafe for my dinner there was no way to heat it, also tried the onsite restaurant that said it was open and it wasn’t open - so no dinner for me. There is no locks on the inside of the room door - Travelling alone this was quite unnerving for me knowing someone could just open my door. There are gaps in the walls and in the cornice on the wall.
