Well located house with great owners

We visited it in summer. It was very well located - near the see, bike roads, many gondolas, castles… The apartment is nice, with shady balcony where you can sit and eat, spacious garden with lots of amenities and a small pool (ideal for kids). But the best feature of the house are the owners, Wendy and Gert. Not only they bake fresh pastry each morning but they are amazing problem solvers as well and you can rest assured they won’t let you in any trouble. Our car’s front glass has broken during the stay and Wendy found us a car service and ordered it for us as we don’t speak German well.

There is nothing to complain about, that would be a blasphemy. There was no cheese grinder in our apartment, so bring your own or ask Wendy, I’m certain she would solve this as well if we were to ask her (we did not).

Fantastic surroundings, basic place.

Near Heiterwang See, which is really beautiful, near Zugspitze and the whole northern Tirol. The garden was very well taken care of.

The kitchen in our room was very old, with an old fridge and no freezer, no dishwasher and an old stove. When you are five people in the summer it was problematic to cook and to store food. The beds and rooms where nice and so was the view of the Thaneller-mountain. Our room wasn’t ready by arrival although we heard none about that before - and we did make a digital check in on forehand. The reaction to us arriving at 13.00 was quite rude and not very welcoming. We went to tithe beautiful lake, and that was fine, it was just a weird experience. I guess they were just very busy.

Our most beautiful and relaxing vacation in Austria !!!

Amazing place to live on the border of Germany-Austria in the midst of snow capped mountains and a beautiful lake. The hosts Wendy and Gert are very courteous and polite. They take care of everything and make you feel very comfortable.

Great place for an amazing escape in the Alps

The rooms were very clean with plenty of amenities for cooking. The staff were friendly and the views from the hotel were amazing. Just a 10 minute walk to the train/bus stop and a 20 minute walk to the lake, everything was generally reachable by foot.

Only a small issue, but newer room only had a microwave instead of an normal oven.

Clean, new large bathroom, friendly staff

Main issue the Wi-Fi coverage was very poor. Does not reach all rooms. This a deal breaker for me, would not recommend this hotel for this reason. Also not enough garbage bin outside the appratment. All bin open and fly around, need more bin

Clean, stylish apartment with a beautiful view.

Stylish apartment with a beautiful view from balcony. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Parking is free and plentiful. Location is great.

Bedroom was a little small with a double bed and a set of bunk beds. Would be fine if kids were smaller, but it was a little too close for my teenagers. My daughter slept on the couch to have more space. Pool had collapsed during the winter, so kids were disappointed they couldn't use it.

Modern and nicely decorated apartment with good facilities. A beautiful surrounding and big balcony under the roof. Small but well planned.

I was easy to hear other guests in the house, but nothing that bothered us.

very nice break for us & a thumbs up for the delightful hosts

Gert and Wendy were very helpful with providing nice suggestions about places to see around. When WIFI was not working as expected, Gert immediately took action and resolved the issue. We didn’t have any Wifi issues thereafter

bedroom is quite small for 4 beds and the bunk bed is suitable for kids under 10. For 12+ year olds, it was quite small.

Lekkere plek, goede kamer en heerlijk ontbijt.

Goede locatie als je op doorreis bent naar het noorden. Heerlijke bedden en fijne douche. Prima ontbijt, zeer compleet! Rustige ligging.

Vloerverwarming was in heel het appartement maar niet in de slaapkamer. Daar erg koude vloer.

Top Bijzonder en super mooi.

Alles was top. Het appartement super bedden super echt niks op aan te merken. Maar wat ons het meest verasten waren de eigenaren wat een warme vriendelijk mensen met het hart ♥️ op de goede plek. Hoe goed ze je helpen en niet alleen in noodgevallen maar ook voor kleine dingen. Ons is wat vervelends overkomen en wat ze toen voor ons gedaan hebben dat doen alleen mensen met een hart ♥️ an GOUD.

Прекрасно място, удобна локация. Целта ни беше посещение на замъците Линдерхоф и Нойшванщайн, но търсехме място, което да е близо, да е спокойно далеч от многото туристи, и да е сред красивата природа.Това е мястото! Изключително чисто и добре подредено, с мили и любезни хазяи, прекрасна гледка. В близост до езеро за разходка. Обзаведен прекрасно апартамент с всичко необходимо! Голям двор с басейн и забавления за деца, настолни игри.Паркинг пред къщата. Остават прекрасни спомени! Горещо препоръчвам, ще посетим отново! Благодарим

Schöner erholsamer Kurzurlaub in Österreich

Die Lage war super mit einem wunderschönen Blick vom Balkon auf die Berge. Zur Unterkunft gehört ein riesiger Garten mit Trampolin, Pool, Spielplatz und mehreren Sitzgelegenheiten um den Tag genießen zu können. Zum Heiterwanger See sind es ca 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß. Dieser ist wunderschön, mit türkisfarbenen, klaren Wasser und lädt zum Baden ein.

Toplocatie en gezellige gastvrijheid.

De locatie is super en het is heel rustig. Gastvrouw Wendy is een zalige babbelkous. We waren op doorreis maar hadden gerust langer kunnen blijven. Een aanrader!

Malý domeček, krásné výhledy z oken, krbová kamna, romantická atmosféra, lokalita stranou.

Krásný malý domeček s výhledem na Ještěd. Příjemné je teplo z krbových kamen, dobře se nám spalo. Lokalita stranou, malá zahrádka, kus do lesa. Moc milí a ochotní majitelé, kteří bydlí hned vedle a cokoliv jsme potřebovali, přišli. Dá se s nimi dobře domluvit. V chatičce jsou i hry, dost dřeva na topení, všude dobré přímotopy, kdyby bylo potřeba, vybavená kuchyň. Člověk se tam cítí jako na své vlastní chatě. Přijeli jsme a měli jsme už zatopeno.

Pokud jedete s dětmi, není oddělen prostor dole od prostoru na spaní a nahoře je vše slyšet. V létě bude super, že se bude dát sedět venku, kuchyňka je maličká a na posezení večer je to asi OK, ale u krbu to bylo hezčí:) V zimě je třeba topit v kamnech, majitelé nabízí pomoc, kdyby to někdo neuměl. U mikrovlnky bych doporučila dát rozdvojku.

Onwijs gezellig appartementje van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hadden appartement "Heiterwanger See" met terras op de begane grond. Ideaal en prachtig uitzicht op het dorp en de bergen. Fijne, gezellige en gastvrije eigenaren. Alles keurig verzorgd in een prachtige omgeving. Jammer dat we door (persoonlijke) omstandigheden onze vakantie zo vroeg moesten onderbreken. Gert & Wendy, Dank jullie wel en heel veel succes en plezier op jullie prachtige stekje!
