Good location near beach ⛱️

Compact, yet spacious 3 bed house. Very well laid out with a porch to leave muddy boots and to clean our dog. The hosts were very helpful and decorated the house for Christmas for us. They also made up a hamper, which was very kind. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. They had all of the usual knives, forks etc, but also had a slow cooker, sieve, measuring spoons, hand blender, whisks etc. There were little labels around the house so you knew what to do, switch, turn on etc. without guessing. House warmed up quickly also, which was great AND you could change the temperature, if required (we increased and reduced the temperature a few times). This doesn't seem like much but we've rented other places over Easter and the hosts have put a lock on the thermostat and we were stuck in a chilly house (not great). Good location- about 15min walk to the beach and 20mins to the cafe on the promenade. One room is a double, one room is a compact twin (for kids) and the third is a more spacious twin, ideal for grown up kids or adults.

The house is brilliant in nearly all aspects. There are 2 very minor criticisms that I have to write in order to fill this box! The shower head is a little heavy and can fall down, but once you're showering, it's fine. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, but this was unexpected and so I ended up bringing a full bag of kitchen equipment. If they had sent an inventory about 1 week before arrival, then this could have saved some space in my very full car.
