Oasis Apartments on Hamilton Island by HIHA

Beautiful quiet location and suited our needs

The air fryer didn’t seem to be working.

The location was perfect

Neighbours were rude and lots were needed to renovate Handyman was very prompt and friendly but still lots of work needed

Hot water took long time to come on...wasted a lot of cold water.

Location including views, electric buggy to get around the Island, most of our family were close by in the same complex, loved spending time out on the patio at the large table, blinds are a great idea not only for privacy but also to deter the cockatoos or limit their access to the patio, as well as provide shade, wind and rain protection. Storage in bedrooms was good. Staff promptly attended our locked out situation. Kids loved the pool.

The unit we stayed in is in dire need of some TLC and maintenance. My expectations were high from the price we paid for the 5 nights so we were quite disappointed to find: *Beds were not comfortable (very low from missing legs/wheels). There was also a hole in the wall behind the bed the size of a previous power point. *No blinds inside which made it difficult to sleep on the sofa beds in the living room. *Scuff/scratched tiles. *Dining table chairs inside were dodgy to sit on. *Kitchen sink leaking and judging by the water damage observed under the sink it has been for a long while. *Not enough cutlery like sharp knives. *The ‘second bathroom’ was only a toilet with a hand basin. *Front door lock was tricky to get in. My parents were staying at another complex apartment which was immaculate and their kitchen well kitted out for a cheaper price.
