We enjoyed staying here

This is a cute place to stay right in the centre of town. I stayed here with my daughter for a couple of nights and we were, on the whole, comfortable. Easy to find location and free parking nearby

Sofa bed and stairs squeak and could use some WD40 applied. The sofa bed was incredibly noisy to open and close and also if you were not as still as a plank during the night it was a very noisy bed whenever you moved and as the place is very small you also wake the person sleeping upstairs when you move.

Weekend evenings can be loud, but music stops at 12:30 am and there are earplugs waiting if you need them. It didn't really bother us as they were closed the second weekend we were there because of the ' Havenfeesten' ( Harbor Fest)

Purple.

Het is erg gezellig place. Extremely efficient and functional usage of space. The huis was perfectly prepared. The bathroom is new and well-equipped. Inside is much better than outside. Free and always available parking - 300 m :)

This place was absolutely phenomenal! Our hosts were very very accommodating and had a ton of great communication. We would absolutely stay here again and again! We were in the middle of such a lovely area and the surrounding businesses were absolutely lovely.

We were mal prepared for breakfast - go to the grocery store before visiting as the town doesn't have a lot of breakfast options. HOWEVER there is coffee in the cottage!

Fabulous

The little house was really comfy and cozy. We had everything to prepare breakfast and the way into town was really short. Its not far until you are at the sea which was wonderful. The furniture did fit the house and looked really nice. All in all it was nice to stay in this small house.

Sadly we were there at the weekend and the restaurant next to the house was still full of people, so it was really loud even after midnight the restaurant seemed to be busy. If you are looking for a lot of sleep and rest, then dont stay at the weekend. Which was also a bit difficult was the shower situationen. The ground was most of the time wet and if you go and take a shower then you flood parts of the room. But in general the two night we stayed were nice.

De omgeving op vrijdag en zaterdag - het ligt midden in de stad naast een tapasrestaurant - wanneer je rust wilt kom dan van zondag tot donderdag - heerlijk rustig en je hoort de vogeltjes fluiten

Ligging en ondanks dat het klein is had het alles

Gevaarlijke trap en manier om te slapen Een beetje overdonderd van de whatsapp berichten van de eigenaresse, bit too much en kwam ook heel kort over wat me niet meteen echt welkom deed voelen.

Slapen naast de disco

Schattig klein huisje midden in het meest oude gedeelte van de stad.

Via een vlizotrap naar je bed klimmen, waar je dan naar toe kruipt. Indien je hoogtevrees hebt of knie- of heupklachten is dit wat minder. De bedbank is geen aanrader om in te slapen. Heel hobbelig en erg dunne matras. Verder blijkt het huisje naast 1 van de weinige uitgaansgelegenheden te liggen van Terneuzen. 4 avonden per week is het daar gezellig eten in Spaanse sferen. Maar op de vrijdag en zaterdag avond het domein van de jeugd en andere feestgangers die luidruchtig zijn, de muziek dreunt, roken naast het raam van ons huisje en (dronken tegen ons raam geleund of op het zitje zitten van ons huisje) staan te kletsen en gillen en lachen...... vlakbij je bed. Oorddopjes helpen daar niet tegen helaas. Mijn dochter en ik voelden ons niet echt veilig.

Van alle gemakken voorzien midden in het centrum

Prima huisje om als uitvalsbasis te dienen voor een bezoek aan Terneuzen en omgeving. Aan alle gemakken is gedacht, zoals koffie/thee/suiker maar ook keukengerei en tips om in de buurt te bezoeken. De (inloop)stortdouche is lekker en licht op sensor is fijn. Ook het contact met de host is prima.

Wat in de omschrijving staat vanwege de ligging midden in oud-Terneuzen heb je geluidsoverlast, dat stoorde mij niet. Maar je hebt ook geen privacy, dus gordijnen dicht. De trap naar het slaapgedeelte is zeker te doen, maar voor wie er 's nachts vaak uitgaat toch minder fijn.

Zou hier zeker nog een keer terugkomen!

Een prachtig huisje middenin het historische deel van Terneuzen! De host was heel vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar. Was twee weken in het huisje voor werk: comfortabele woning, schoon en netjes, precies zoals op de foto's. Prima uitgerust keukentje om zelf maaltijden te kunnen bereiden. Verwarming werkte goed.

Op vrijdag en zaterdag is er wat geluidsoverlast van de tapasbar, maar dat wist ik van de andere reviews. Was (eventueel met oordopjes) goed te doen, om middernacht ging de muziek uit.
