Alfama - Sé Cathedral | Lisbon Cheese & Wine Apartments

Location was good. Apartment looks good. Kitchen equipment is very good

It’s in a main road so from the property to much noise came from when the tram is crossing its to noisy and the second bed room have no windows. Otherwise good

Location was fantastic and not too noisy given it was right next to the tram line.

The room with the double bed was claustrophobic, no window , small and I felt with kids in other room that we couldn’t leave the door open to get some sort of air flow.

Bom espaço, cozinha moderna e bem equipada, ambiente bastante fresco e organizado, o sofá era bastante confortavel.

limpeza deixou a desejar, haviam baratas mortas na cozinha, muita poeira na parte superior do escorredor de louça e em outros pontos da casa, como janelas e portas. Tivemos um constrangimento ao tentar aceder ao apartamento na noite anterior ao checkout, tivemos que aguardar na rua por quase 2h até que pudessem nos enviar uma chave reserva, o acesso da porta estava travado e não era possivel inserir o código, isso foi bastante chato.

The location was brillant. Within walking distance to all the historical sites in Alfama and wonderful hill top cafes and restaurants. Lots of hills and cobblestone paths so might not be suitable for pushchairs or those with issues walking. There is a bus and tram stop outside the property. The apartment was clean, plenty of towels and shampoo etc. The kitchen seemed well stocked with equipment but we did not use it so cannot comment. There was a code to the front door and apartment (also keys for the apartment) which made entry very easy. Wifi was very good. I would consider staying at other properties under this group. Communications was exceptional, no query was to small and they were very helpful.

The enterance to the apt is on the road down from "The Museu do Teatro Romano". The windows, only on one side, overlook the street on the other side of the building. Thankfully our taxi driver knew the place I don't think we would found it. Apt 3 is in the basment, it was dark and smelt of damp and old drains. When we mentioned it to the host they immediately offered to relocate us to another place but we stayed. The bus and tram stop is directly outside the window and go non stop, there is a slight lull in traffic between 12pm and 5am. Soundproofing is none existant and sometimes it was hard to tell if the tennants above us were in our apartment or their own.
