D.R.Rome Spanish Luxury Suites

The location was excellent, with so many bars, restaurants and shops on the same street, the host Simona was so helpful in sharing information about Rome and suggesting things to do, and the room was gorgeous, with proper aircon and super comfortable!!

Spacious room right in the centre of Rome. No troubles with late check in. I even had a late flight and could use the room for always the whole next day cause the other guest would arrive late as well. Really appreciated that, made everything so much easier!

There are two floors of quite steep stairs which was challenging with large suitcases and no lift

Great location. Great size. Very secure with a 4-door, 4-key entry.

1. The bathroom was awful. That’s why there’s only 1 pic on the advert. Mould, crumbling and very out of date. Which is a shame as it has great features. 2. Very poor air conditioning. In the middle of the heatwave we couldn’t sleep as the aircon was pretty much non existent. 3. WiFi didn’t work for most of our time there. My partner’s wallet was stolen and it was a nightmare having to go to cafes with WiFi to try and go to online buybanking as the hotel WiFi didn’t work “no internet connection” 4. Check in and out times don’t tally. Check in from 10am. Check out by 10:30. We said we’d be arriving for 10am as we were going to an event. Got there 10:10 and previous occupants hadn’t checked out. Not their fault as they had until 10:30. It was a disappointing start. 5. Not sure about the appropriateness of the owner phoning me at 9:30pm on our first night to ask me to accept her phone number. Only then to be bombarded with 39 WhatsApp messages on recommendations of places to go, to eat etc. Was trying to help but not necessary, and actually quite uncomfortable. 5. Dangerous sockets hanging out the wall.
