Hotel Ioana

We really liked the staff. They were very friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is basic but is clean and has everything that you need. We stayed here for one night to get an early bus from the station which is a 10 minute walk so perfect for public transport. It is some distance from the 'old town' and the beach and would not really be suitable if that's what you want to visit.

It was clean and the staff was friendly.

Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Even the linens were made of a very strange material that felt like sleeping in plastic. The hotel was extremely noisy. We could not sleep AT ALL, we jumped out of bed several times because the noises in the hotel were very loud and strange I could say( people slamming the doors and all the walls were shaking, the cleaning lady vacuuming the hallway at very early hours, people screaming on the hallway, train and traffic noise from the outside). Moreover the AC is positioned very wrong, directed towards the bed, which is not good for health if you want to keep it open all night. We could not sleep because of the heat as well, and opening the windows was another problem due to outside noise.
