Perfect location
a) for the wonderful photographic exhibition..a 5 minute walk away, off road through the park.
b) right next to the peaceful river Aff.
c) friendly helpful staff
Nothing. A really wonderful few days in this excellent camp. We had a cabin for 4. Comfortable, well equipped, and really helpful staff. We were self catering so didn't have the breakfast.

Cabin(Hutch!) booked - good value for money. Not so suitable for the elderly or infirm - fell out of it in the morning! Also the doors bang on opening/closing and would benefit from spring retainer(s)/buffers

The place - La Gacilly is beautiful, and this camping-like place is well situated in it. The price was good; we just needed a one-night stay before getting up early and heading to the airport.
Anyway, this specific unit is minimalistic and cheap, we took it only because we knew we would just sleep there; but last year we took another unit there, and it was much better. So, bottom line - I recommend the place.
We phoned the reception and told them we arrive late for check-in, they said the room will be open and the key will be inside. When we arrived, the key was indeed inside, but the door was locked... it took 1/2 hour to find their emergency number, and some challenging conversations in French, and a helpful by-passer, to get us in.

Very well located in the heart of La Gacilly. Good facilities.

lovely area, clean and quiet next to the small river and a park you walk through to get to the town. Staff was friendly and helpful.
some of the things in the cottage were falling apart (little sofa in the living room that is supposed to serve as a bed if there were 6 ppl in the cabin for example. There is no way 6 ppl would fit and sofa was broken and not very clean).
There was loads of cobwebs in the cabin on arrival (long winter?) and the bed mattress is covered in protective plastic like in the hospital, so you end up sweating a lot during the night. And the Internet DID NOT work at all, not for a minute. We went to report it to the reception but the girl just shook her shoulders and said it worked for her....
Still, it is a nice place and we had a very nice time.

Lovely location close to the town.
All activity’s seemed to be closed for the season.

The setting is lovely and convenient for the photographic exhibition. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed here in 2020 and 2021.
We feel the facilities have gone down a bit since our previous stays: no breakfast in the marquee and the breakfast that was delivered was a bit basic, plus no milk delivered on the second day. The breakfast basket we left for collection wasn't removed, though we had been told to leave it after offering to bring it to reception. Also, the toiletries provided were pretty meagre for two nights for two people, one very small shampoo and one make-up remover (!) and two half full loo rolls. The water in the shower also seemed to run cold very quickly, and we are not people who spend hours in the shower! The staff as always, were lovely, but I'm not sure it will be our choice for next year.

beautiful location, right beside the town. we stayed in a luxury cottage which was very comfortable and spacious enough for 4 people. 6 would be a tight squeeze.
paying €110 for linen for 5 days is a bit of a joke.

Great location by the river and just out of town
Sorry that the bread I had ordered for breakfast for my last day wasn't able to be collected until I checked out

Location near river lovely. Clean rooms
Beds very hot due to Mattress cover
Need microwave instructions as unsure how to operate.

A great option for a family as it's better than connecting hotel rooms. The town itself is very pleasant
This wasn't a problem for me, but I suspect it may be challenging for someone who doesn't speak French

So good we stayed a second night! The adjoining art installation and nature area were a real bonus!
We didn't like leaving when our visit was over.

Staff were nice. I stayed in a wooden hut that was small with just enough storage. Pornic is lovely.
A bit near the road. Wasn’t super clean. It was a step above camping.

Great location, super friendly staff, very comfy cottage: we'd definitely recommend Rives Nature. I had to book last minute and they happily accommodated us. Everything was actually better than expected!
I can't think of anything.
