A wonderful stay in a beautiful region

Exceptional

We were in town for a wedding so location was key and it was only a few mins walking distance. Really spacious house with private parking space for 2-3 cars and garden access. The owners live next door and are ever so helpful with any request. Well equipped kitchen; large rooms and comfy beds. (PS. don't forget to bring your own bed linen - it's mentioned in the description but we nearly forgot it)

Super genoten van ons verblijf op de Jolienberg

Alles. De hygiene, de hele accomodatie was brandschoon. Alles was ruimschoots aanwezig in het huis. Hele vriendelijke gastvrouw die je ontvangt met koffie en appeltaart. Waar vind je dat nog. Ik kan niets bedenken wat ik gemist heb. Komt zeker voor herhaling in aanmerking.

Helemaal niets. We konden er wandelen en als we zin hadden konden we de auto pakken en naar Tongeren of St. Truiden rijden.

Belle escapade dans le confort

L accueil avec un gâteau fait par la propriétaire. Le confort de la maison et la surprise du départ pas de ménage à faire. Malgré la différence de la langue, nous avons réussi à communiquer. Pas besoin de réveil matinal, une vache que nous avons surnommée Marguerite en face de la maison se chargeait de remplacer le coq 🤣

Prima verblijf

Veel ruimte, netheid en uitrusting

De locatie : je bent er in niemandsland. De wegen ergens naartoe verlopen via een boswegel of een weg in heel slechte staat. Dit heeft evenwel met het verblijf zelf niets te maken.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön mit großen Fenstern mit Blick auf Gärten. Die Wohnung ist schön groß und man hat viel Platz. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet.

Es war Barbezahlung in der Buchung angegeben, doch plötzlich wurde eine Überweisung erwartet. Die Überweisung sollte noch vor Ablauf der Stornierungsfrist gezahlt werden, sonst wurde mit Stornierung (!) gedroht. Die vorherige Situation hat mein Verhältnis zu den Vermietern getrübt und ich habe vergessen mitzuteilen, dass wir mit unserem alten Kater kommen, der eigentlich nur in seinem Körbchen liegt und schläft. Die Schadenskaution wurde tatsächlich eingefordert. Das habe ich noch nie erlebt. Auch wenn sie in vorherigen Reisebuchungen angegeben war, wurde sie nie tatsächlich eingefordert. Die Wohnung wird seit Jahren vermietet, also gibt es Abnutzungserscheinungen, die einen beunruhigen, ob am Ende erklärt wird, man hätte dies oder jenes kaputt gemacht. Soll man tatsächlich vorher misstrauisch durch die Wohnung und Mängel absprechen? Das hat mich die ganze Zeit beunruhigt. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan und man wird auch ein bisschen beobachtet. Als der Kater am Fenster gesehen wurde, gab es Ärger, obwohl Tiere ja erlaubt sind. Darauf hatte ich bei der Buchung geachtet. Die Schränke und Schubladen der Wohnung sind voll mit altem Hausrat und man hat wenig Platz, eigene Dinge ordentlich zu verstauen : wir waren immerhin 8 Tage dort. Die Dekoration hat Platz auf den Tischen weggenommen. Man wohnt direkt an der Straße in einem ruhigen Dorf und landwirtschaftliche Fahrzeuge donnern laut am Schlafzimmer vorbei,
