1 Bedroom Gorgeous Apartment In Omisalj

The apartment is in a restricted location which was not clear from the information given. Once we did get the keys everything else was fine. The apartment was well equipped, except there was no blow dryer and I had asked for that information twice. Also there was no dishcloths or dish towels. All in all pleasant enough, close to a small park where we could take the dog and a market for easy shopping.

Unlike the description there is no direct beach access. So impossible for someone with mobility issues. The access was in a restricted area with no possibility to drive down to the 'beach'. It was a bit of a nightmare to reverse back up the hill as we had no idea and there were no signs. Very tight manoeuvring with the car. But that is a chronic problem with all of Krk in many areas. Make sure you get the exact address when you book as on Booking,com confirmation all you get is the postal code and I had to call the booking agent (Novasol) and get them to send us that information, they are not in Croatia. It was a little frustrating. When you arrive someone has to meet you as they have to give you a key to lower the barrier which you have to keep with you. When you check out you have to drive out through the barrier, park and then walk back to leave the keys.. The owner does not speak English but her daughter does but we did not see her until the next day. Krk is a lovely Island but so crowded. June, July and August are NOT the time to visit. Parking and access are a nightmare.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. TV ging nicht. Für mich war der Strand nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Beschreibung am Meer stimmt nicht.

In der Duschkabine gibt es keine Halterung für einen Duschkopf und auch die Position der Toilettenschüssel ist nicht gut keine Kleiderbügel an der Wand
