Domaine Les Cascades

Breakfast was great, with lovely home-made preserves and fruit which varied from day tot day. Small, ancient village very close to LaGrasse with a fantastic swimming place on the river a short walk away. Excellent air conditioning.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Location is great, just a few minutes from Lagrasse. Breakfast was very good and so was the accommodation for the most part.

The room had no windows that could be opened so the only way to get some fresh air was to open the door to the patio. The patio is potentially very pleasant but was in state that could be improved overall. We had a dinner with the hosts that was proposed to us for 30£ per person. We were expecting local products such as cheese or meat and instead all we got was a boiled egg, an extremely overcooked risotto (pureed rice basically) and a panna cotta, plus two glasses of wine. That was underwhelming to say the least since, to put things in context, the night before we had an exceptional dinner menu at one of Lagrasse's finest restaurants for 28€ plus wine at 4€ a glass. Overall a very good stay but with a very poor and exceedingly expensive dinner at the property for what we got.
