FIRST TIME IN BITOLA

I liked the apartment. It was extremely clean. It was very comfortable. Very close to the pedestrian street Sirok Sokak where one can find many shops and restaurants. The building and the apartments are so well kept they look like recently built, but they are not.

Due to my age I had problems getting to the third floor where my apartment was. To tell the truth, I believe it was even higher, since all the apartments had high ceilings (3m or so). Getting to the third floor was like getting to the fourth floor at regular buildings. Too bad they could not offer anything lower. I was also disappointed with the fridge in the kitchen. We were planning to cook. But the fridge was only 40l in capacity - as big as my portable fridge I take camping. This is my first time seeing such a small fridge - half the size of minibars and I would not even call it a fridge. There is nothing you can put inside besides a bottle or two of coke and some cheese maybe. We had the apartment and the bedroom did not have either AC or a TV. The bathroom did not have a place to put your shampoo once you are under the shower. Each time you need the shampoo or the shower gel you have to get out of the shower cabin or leave it on the floor in the shower. And finally, they really do not have a parking space. But there is parking space around, like on the other side of the street or a bit further, so we did not have problems parking. This is not really a complaint. I just wanted to set the things straight, so the future guests will know what to expect. And the windows are definitely not sound proof. On Saturday we had a very loud music from the bars in the street very very late into the night.

The only negative is the lack of an elevator. It's a matter of going to the third floor by stairs and with suitcases.
