Great location for walkers. The Old Nags Head offered cottage style accommodation attached to the pub. It offered a small living room and kitchenette. The cottage was clean and comfortable
One bedroom was above what I assume was a chiller or air conditioner and there was a constant hum. Not too distracting but it meant that we had to close the window during the night making the room hot

Location fantastic just above the pub and in the heart of Edale. Wonderful little cottage equipped with all you need. Kitchen has cafetière, fridge, good selection of crockery and cleaning equipment, comfortable beds, cool in the hot weather. Pub does lovely evening meals and beer garden was busy with a good atmosphere.
Silly really but a staff member I saw the week before we came said there was no cafetière in the cottage and no bread knife so I didn’t bring any real coffee and planned to borrow a steak knife to cut my bread up. I always like proper coffee in the morning. The cottage was in fact really well equipped in the kitchen which you’d expect for self catering especially as the pub doesn’t do breakfast. So they need to communicate with each other better because I missed my proper coffee and we had to leave before the Cafe across the road opened.

We had a lovely stay over a very snowy weekend. Great location, near the station and lots of lovely walks. The cottage is cosy but clean. Thanks for having us!
