Looks nice and is in a great location but not as peaceful as you would think

Great location, nicely decorated, fully equipped kitchen

You can hear everything from the venue below. On Sunday at 7/730am the movement began and we could hear the talking and moving around of half a dozen people. When the door is being closed there is a resonant sound throughout the building. It feels like there is no privacy because of the sounds transmitting (I’m sure they could hear us walking around upstairs). I assume if someone can sleep through noise it’s fine but it wasn’t peaceful or relaxing to stay there. If it were warmer weather and one would be outside more I think it wouldn’t be a problem, also when the sun rises earlier, it’s less terrible to be woken at 7, as it wouldn’t still be dark out.

Cosy and contemporary loft apartment in idyllic village

Located in the centre of Edale, it was the perfect place to come back to after being out walking. 2 bathrooms, spacious living area, kitchen well equipped - we even managed to cook a full Christmas dinner.

We were very happy with it. The only thing is that the sofa bed - while great to have as an extra option - is more comfortable for one than two people.

Perfect location for walking, didn't need the car, walks from the door. The flat is lovely, everything I needed, except an oven glove, bring your own if you plan on cooking, although with 2 pubs on the door step there's no need to cook

Excellent few days in Edale

The location was excellent and ideal for walking in the Edale valley and beyond. The property has parking, which is must for Edale and with two pubs and two cafes very nearby access to food was very easy.

Lovely, relaxing, comfortable place to stay in one of the country's best places for outdoor activity

The loft is light and the views are wonderful. It was a lovely place to relax after a busy day.

My only problem was communication from booking.com in advance, which didn't send me all the information I needed on arrival, so I had to phone my host, who was really helpful.

Very cosy flat in ideal spot for walkers.

Fabulous spot, especially for walkers. Many walks straight from the flat. Very clean, nice hallway for taking off walking clothes, with a washing machine. Feels spacious. The owners responded very quickly to messages about check in.

The only downside is something that can't be helped - no view! (unless you stand in tiptoe to look through the velux!) This is just being super picky, though.

Beautiful location, great starting point for the hikes.

Location, great to have pubs in walking distance and the start of many great walks. Well equipped place, fantastic to have two bathrooms.

Found it very warm and couldn’t seem to keep the temperature down. With that, with the windows open all the time the 4am wake up call from the birds was very loud! Would say the place was generally clean but needs a bit more attention to detail in areas and a bit of tlc needed across the place with walls and furnishings needing attention.

Magical

Stay here to run the Ultra X 50km Peak District with my partner and we couldn’t have imagined of a better place to stay. It was immaculate, comfortable, snuggly and well equipped for a memorable stay. Hoping to return for a chill escape with my partner in the near future. Great place!!

Beautiful and private spot to enjoy the surrounding countryside

The Loft was brilliant! Beautifully finished fixtures and fittings with tonnes of space to relax. The location was spot on for surrounding walks and a very good pub. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves and the whole place was lovely and private for a peaceful stay. We only stayed for two nights and I wish we'd had longer - we will definitely be back!

The place was fantastic but to be picky there were a few bits of cleaning spots missed - bathroom tiles could have done with a harder scrub to get rid of toothpaste. The doors banged a lot with the windows open which gave us a fright in the middle of the night and It wasn't overly clear where the outside seating space was. Other than that it was perfect.

Gorgeous cosy stay in the heart of Edale

loved the personal touches like washing up liquid, wash powder etc and finished to such a high standard with Denby crockery and le cruset accessories. fabulous location right next to family on the campsite and felt really warm and homely

only issue for me was not being able to reach the toilet roll in the bathroom and nowhere to put toiletries could do with a little dressing table area.

Fantastic loft! Velux windows in the sloping ceiling! Two full bathrooms. The location is perfect for starting the Pennine Way and the pubs afterwards. Local shop for self catering too. Really good.

Well, I'm a 5'7" woman, not that tall, and kept banging my head! Getting to the drawers in the bedroom, I kept standing up too soon. hahahaha! Almost.every.time. Then the trash can in the kitchen, and after several head bangs I wizened up and moved it out. hahahaha! That is all.

Highly recommended to anyone looking for the perfect base for cycling or walking in the Peaks!

We loved it here. The location is wonderful with a convenience store and a pub a one minute walk away, and the best cycling and walking on the doorstep. The apartment itself is clean, comfy and quiet, with everything you could need in the kitchen including a very nice coffee maker and two compact but beautiful bathrooms. We certainly plan to stay here again next time we come to visit this part of the Peaks.

Only tiny thing was that we had to go to the nearby shop to get cooking oil, and the coffee pods provided were running out. Some places we've stayed there has been a pint of milk in the fridge. These aren't things you expect but always a nice touch in a self catered holiday cottage.
