A Hidden Gem in Cappadocia – Perfect for Families!

We had the most amazing 3-day stay at Mira Capadocia, and I can't recommend it enough, especially for families! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel is super family-friendly. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and the owner is genuinely one of the kindest and most welcoming people we've met on our travels. One of the things we loved most about Mira Capadocia is its location. It’s nestled away from the busy tourist crowds of Göreme, which means you can truly relax and soak in the beauty of the region without the noise or rush. The hotel is just a short walk from the Kızılırmak River, where we enjoyed peaceful walks every evening. The area also has some great local food options which are authentic, delicious, and not overpriced. Do book a session at the Avanos Pottery Workshop. The breakfast each morning was simply exceptional, a generous spread of fresh, locally sourced items served with a smile. We especially enjoyed starting our day on the terrace, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. If you're visiting Cappadocia and want a place that combines comfort, genuine hospitality, and a bit of tranquility, Mira Capadocia is the perfect choice.

Beautiful Avano Hotel

Mira is a beautiful modern boutique hotel located in Avanos. It is convenient to walk down the hill to town. Hotel is both clean and comfortable. Avanos is a lovely town with beautiful ceramic shops & nice restaurants. The owner is friendly & I highly recommend staying at Mira.

We loved: -how spacious it was - local recommendations and your bookings were efficient - hosts were very friendly and helped us through out the whole stay - airport pick up with shuttle was seem less - the views from hotel were amazing - the place was clean and the bed was comfortable - excellent breakfast

Is was my third trip to Cappadocia, and MIRA is the best local hotel I've stayed at.

We traveled by car. The location is perfect, you are in 10-15 min drive distance from most attractions in this area. Hotel has a very good access by car from the main road as well as from the Old Town Avanos. Parking is very good as well.

We had a lovely room that was well set out and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows we’re comfortable and the breakfast was divine. The staff there were lovely especially the owner who really made our stay even better

Trust worthy, excellent service and helpful

The host and the staff. They were sooo helpful from the time of the booking. Arrived early so, they offered breakfast and also made the room available much earlier than the check in time. Very helpful with information and also arranged all the activities/top attractions. The service, cleanliness and property exceeded expectations and the brea fast was out of the world!! Oh and also got a goodbye gift from the host!!!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

The location wasn't great. I think staying closer to town or in Goreme/Uchisar would have been better and more accessible to the area for a more authentic experience. They didn't seem to like our children playing in the hotel and they had to go to out to the road to play.

I will definitely go back to stay in MIRA hotel and explore more as everything is reachable easily.

The location was perfect - it is a quiet neighborhood that allows one to enjoy morning coffee with the view of flying balloons or afternoon tea outside on several terraces / it is a walking distance from old downtown, pharmacy, supermarket, ATMs, shops, ceramic centers, cafes, restaurants , fresh produce stands, the river and shady park. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is exceptional with homemade food and local specialties / the owner himself is always present at breakfast to greet guests and listen to their comments and requests. The hotel helps you to book excursions with the reputable and experienced outfitters and helps with transfers. The rooms are supplied with all necessary amenities and stylish decor and details. The building itself is very unique - am old Greek house.

The duplex room was very nice, loved the look. Also the hotel itself was very beautiful, it had an ancient cave look. The staff at breakfast were very lovely and the breakfast itself was spectacular. Would defo recommend anyone staying there

Cleanliness was good, but could have been better. The lady at the reception was kind but the guy who I think is the manager was not that kind, he didn’t seem to smile more and was not approachable. Also you cannot really see the hot air balloons from the hotel, the description said that it was very close to the hot air balloon area but it was quite a distance by car and from the hotel it seemed like little flies in the sky so if you are looking for a view of the hot air balloons then I would recommend booking something much closer

Great stay in Avanos on Cappadocia

We stayed at Mira Cappadocia for 2 nights, the staff was very kind and Farouk (owner) is always present looking that all is OK, the location is not in the very center, but only 6min walk, Rooms are very spacious (Family Room) there fit up to 5 people very comfortable. The Breakfast the best compared with other hotels around the area, and very Homemade style. Congratulation Mira Cappadocia for the work well done!

Piece of perfection

Well...everything. From the very begining it was a great experience. Right after I have done the reservation I got the welcome message from GM of the Hotel. That was the first sign that it is a great place with proffesional and very kind approach to client. The Staff (after these few days here I preffer word good colleagues) was exceptionally helpful and open to assist with every little question/challenge/problem. They made our stay safe, comfortable and pleasant. Its a benchmark for all the others chain hotels. And hotels in general:) This place is a set of small, wonderfull details that makes you comfortable. The Hotel is beautiful, clean and charming in a beautiful and calm (yet atrractive) Avanos. Beatutifull views from a few available teraces have made our afternoons. Moreover...even a scent in our room was beautiful. Breakfasts - top notch:). Coffee, tea, beer and wine at our disposal all day. Important thing for us - during our 4 weeks trip thru Turkiye, this is the first place in which lighting and ilumination have its role. So far we have experienced only extremely bright, cold lights in our rooms/apartaments without any ambience. Here you can set and enjoy any atmosphere you wish. I dare to say its one of the best hotels I have ever been. I know we will be back one day. Last but not least, Mr.Faruk - a role model of a hotel owner. Thank you Sir:)

Amazing gem of a hotel. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very spacious and comfy. Very clean. The owner and other staff will personally oversee that everything is well taken care of. They were able to arrange horseback rides and hot-air balloon rides for us at the last minute as we had not booked those in advance.

A hotel with a character run by people with smiles

Hotel has a lot of character. Every corner has something new and it’s beautifully decorated. The hotel staff was excellent and prepared a gluten free breakfast for us on request, which was excellent. Everyone was polite, courteous and genuine.

The road up to the hotel was full of grit probably due to ongoing construction nearby. Just need to be a a bit careful when walking to or from.
