Superb

Our room was very comfortable and warm with plenty of hot water. A generous breakfast with delicious homemade jams was served and the Kärntner Kasnudeln were a hit. We would definitely come again.

View to a cemetery

We have been there only for one night and the hotel just reopened after the covid disease.

The view from bathroom way to an churchyard, cemetery, which was a little creepy. There breakfast was very poor maybe it is for the reopening.

Surrounded by cemetery

Friendly stuff, one of the 4 booked rooms had a very nice stove in the room. Very quiet area. Easy to find and park.

Almost all rooms face the cemetery, have a view of the cemetery by the church only. This is not seen on the pictures. Not all travels like to sleep right next to dead.

A welcoming, old-world place, tucked away in a very-peaceful corner of the Carinthian hills.

Buffet breakfast was good. Dinners were very good, imaginative, locally-sourced, with use of local herbs. Good location for local mountain hiking, but you definitely need a car. The address may be Gurk, but it's 20 minutes' drive up a mountain with no bus service. It's a very peaceful place.

Gute Lage an der Romea Strata, nach einigen Regentagen war ich um das Schuhputzzeug sehr froh.

Das Hotel überzeugt durch seine zentrale Lage, saubere Ausstattung und alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Ideal für alle, die Komfort ohne Luxus suchen.

Vriendelijke mensen, net en schoon appartement Prima ontbijt, fijne service en een goede plek om overal heen te kunnen.

Het was jammer dat het appartement erg gehorig was en even rekening houden met de openingstijden van het restaurant in het voorseizoen

Kinder sind vom Reitunterricht begeistert.

Meine Kinder wollten unbedingt hierhin, weil zum Gasthof auch ein kleiner Reitstall mit Reitschule gehört. Der Reitunterricht hat beiden großen Spaß gemacht (meine Tochter kann bereits reiten, mein Sohn hatte davor noch keine Pferdeerfahrung) und meine Tochter konnte sogar Ausreiten gehen. Das hat sie sich schon immer gewünscht. Die zwei reden jetzt schon davon, wann wir wieder kommen. :D Auch für uns war der Kurzurlaub erholsam: Der Gasthof liegt in einem kleinen, ruhigen Örtchen, trotzdem ist es nicht weit zu verschiedenen Ausflugszielen. Für Wanderer und Naturliebhaber ist es sehr zu empfehlen, weil es so viele Wanderrouten gibt. Und die Küche war spitze! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Alles frisch allerdings gab es manches nur auf Nachfrage, das muss man wissen.

Die Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig und riechen feucht. Das Mobiliar alt und abgewohnt. Der Teppich extrem fleckig.
