The hosts were very accommodating and we enjoyed our time here.

It was centrally located and conveniently close to the bus stop. There was adequate space to store our snowboarding gear using the balcony, which had a great view too.

Lovely stay in the Mayrhofen. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay with an amazing view from the balcony. Better to stay here than in Mayrhofen which is crowded with limited parking and has lower elevation. The bed was comfortable and it was super clean. The owner cleaned every day and provided new towels. It was very quiet and peaceful. The location was close to attractions and you could easily walk along the beautiful river. It was easy to park close to the property. There were many windows to open to have ventilation.

Everything was good. Please note that if the weather is hot in the summer, the temperature can be high during the day (and only goes down during the late night), so I recommend perhaps having or bringing a fan. But this is typical of European hotels since it isn’t common to have air conditioning in Europe.

Superb

The property is a little out of Mayrhofen, but that is clear from the location map, and it is not far uphill from the town. If you follow the path uphill behind the property, you quickly reach bus stops in both directions on the bus route between Mayrhofen and Hintertux. These allow travel into the town or to the bus and train stations. By foot, the town would be perhaps 20 minutes and the stations 25 minutes, both at a swift pace. The property itself has an attractive traditional appearance. There is a well-maintained garden and a terrace area with seating, where you can relax and admire the fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. I stayed in a single room, which served as a suitable base for longer hiking trips in the upper valleys. The stay was excellent value compared to similar properties in the same area. The welcome from the hosts was particularly friendly, which contributed greatly to what was a fantastic visit to the beautiful Zillertal.

Great Little Apartment in beautiful Mayrhofen

This was a fantastic little apartment that was spotlessly clean, comfortable and run by a lovely local family. It was everything that we needed for a great weeks skiing

INothing although it's a 25 minute walk into Mayrhofen and the apartment is up a steep hill which would be difficult Ski boots. However parking is quite cheap in Mayrhofen so we used the car to get to the ski lifts in the morning

great little stay

the views are amazing at the top of the little hill, hosts are incredibly nice and even gave me a lift to the the train station in the huge snowstorm that arrived the day I was supposed to check out. it’s super convenient to have two bus stops nearby, although the walk up the hill is a bit long (but who doesn’t like exercise?)

the walk to the bus stops can be treacherous when icy, especially in ski boots. the room is pretty small and walls are thin, but for the value of the room I can live with that

Family Pfister was very welcoming. They offered to drive us to the train station, so very kind of them. The breakfast was also good and plentiful. The location was perfect, just close to many scenic sites and hiking trails. Overall, we had a wonderful, comftable and enjoyble stay at Haus Alpengruß. Many thanks to Family Pfister. 😊

Feels like at home

Great location to enjoy mountain silence and amazing views over the Zillertal valley and surrounding mountains. The house itself is like a museum. It is a clean, well preserved and maintained authentic alpine house. Host are nice and welcoming. They will be happy to give you some tips on how to plan your journey or how to experience Zillertal at maximum. Recommended for couples, families and solo adventurers (like me), who want to enjoy pure Austrian atmosphere, while feeling themselves like at home.

Great owners providing accommodation where you feel like at home

The property owners are amazing. The can really take care of their guests. It’s perfect place for staying when you don’t spend too much time inside. Location is ideal for hiking, cycling, via ferrata, all outdoor activities. The place was quiet because it was far from a town.

The bed was small for me (183 cm). There were lot of insects in the room because of missing screens in windows.

Very nice, clean, warm. Lovely hostess who kindly helped me with my appalling German. It was a great base for me as I wanted to visit the ski area’s from Mayerhofen to Hintertux.

Ubytování ideální pro rodinu na skvělém místě

Velmi pohodlné ubytování, veškeré vybavení, k dispozici terasa, trampolína, ping-pong a parkoviště. Skvělá lokalita, 3 lanovky, akvapark Mayrhofen, supermarket v dochozí vzdálenosti. Ideální pro horské procházky i tůry, výlety na kole, mnoho ferrat, dětských hřišť a veškeré zábavy. Velmi příjemná majitelka. Nic není problém.

Druhá místnost je nižší, což nám nevadilo, protože tam byly děti. A také v bytě bylo hodně pavouků.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen gepflegten Lage oberhalb der Ortschaft. Ich konnte direkt vorm Haus parken. Die große Terrasse im Erdgeschoss kann man mitbenutzen und die tolle Aussicht genießen. Das Zimmer ist in einem super Zustand und sehr sauber. Es ist mit allem wichtigen ausgestattet und man kann den Kühlschrank und die Mikrowelle im Erdgeschoss mitbenutzen. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Zimmer ist etwas dunkel.
