Castlehouse B&B

The location was good and the beds were very comfortable, breakfast was ok .

Because we're in our 70ts didn't like the stairs, and there could have been a bit more about the breakfast other than that everything was fine

The host was very friendly. The location was easy to find. No carpet in the room allowing the musty smell of the entry way to subside. Beautiful view out the window. The host called to a local pub and got us a reservation for dinner that night.

There was a musty smell when entering the building. The carpet very old. The room was very small.

Close to the bay, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park. Comfortable bed n great Irish cooked breakfast. Staff friendly.

No milk, teaspoons, only decaf coffee sachets in room. Booked room with seaview n mountain view, which we didn't get.

The home-cooked breakfast was delicious! John Diamond, the owner, personally greeted us at the door and showed us to our room, pointing out international differences in electricity and facilities. There were multiple dinner options nearby. There is a little park with picnic tables across the road. Very family friendly. The place, itself, is a treasure, with family portraits hanging on the walls of the dining room. I loved the quaint, home-like feel of the whole place. Antique furniture and beautiful dishes. Don't change a thing, John!
